FRESNO ST. @ C. CAROLINA | 04/01 | 6:00 PM EDT
FRESNO ST. -2.5
ANALYSIS: The Basketball Classic championship will finally take place as Fresno State travels to Coastal Carolina. This is the Bulldogs' longest road trip of the season, but I expect the them to be focused and handle a Coastal Carolina team that has trailed early in its last two games. Grab Fresno State.

FRESNO ST. -3
ANALYSIS: This should be South Alabama in this game, Coastal hit the two luckiest shots of their season to force and, subsequently, win in OT against USA. While that's not the reason for my pick here, I doubt that Coastal can will that type of performance against a team that it has little familiarity with (USA and Coastal are divisional foes). Fresno comes from a Mountain West that has been ragged on all March because they couldn't get a single NCAA win, well Fresno is playing with much worse competition and the MW is still a good conference. I think Fresno get's this one done by more than a bucket, this has a chance to be a similar result to the beating they gave Southern Utah. Lay it with Fresno.

L.A. CLIPPERS +7.5
ANALYSIS: Both teams have ruled out every key player in the second of a back-to-back -- I'm simply taking the Clippers because they are deeper. Curious what oddsmakers will do here. I'd guess this drops a few points. Expect ZERO defense.

OTTAWA @ DETROIT | 04/01 | 7:30 PM EDT
DETROIT -120
ANALYSIS: I really had no interest in this game between bad teams but will roll with the Wings at home because Ottawa is giving Mads Sogaard his first-ever NHL start in net. The 6-foot-7 Sogaard was 16-13-1, with a 2.87 goals against average and .906 save percentage with Belleville of the American Hockey League this year. His NHL experience amounts to one exhibition period in September. I'm always going to fade a rookie netminder in his first start on the road.

TORONTO @ ORLANDO | 04/01 | 7:00 PM EDT
ORLANDO +11
ANALYSIS: This feels a bit like a trap game for Toronto, which comes off a four-game homestand that featured three games against playoff teams. It's a weird one-game road trip to Orlando and then back to Toronto for four games, including a potential playoff preview vs. Miami on Sunday. It wouldn't stun me if the Raptors rested a starter tonight, either. I'm not expecting the Magic to win or anything, but they should be able to stay within 10. Orlando is 5-1 ATS in its past six vs. teams with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in its past eight as a dog.
+2343 84-45-1 IN LAST 130 NBA PICKS
ST. LOUIS @ EDMONTON | 04/01 | 9:00 PM EDT
EDMONTON -151
ANALYSIS: Great matchup and the Blues are certainly capable of winning but Edmonton is feeling it at home on an eight-game winning streak. The franchise record is nine. Connor McDavid has scored in back-to-back games and has eight goals in his last 11 games as part of an 11-game point streak (8G, 13A). The Oilers (4.70) and Blues (3.90) are averaging the first and third-most goals per game since March 10. Jordan Kryou (62 points) is iffy for St. Louis.
