TORONTO @ COLUMBUS | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
COLUMBUS +1.5
ANALYSIS: My model says the Blue Jackets cover in more than 70 percent of the simulations, so you're getting excellent value with them at this number. Columbus is no stranger to tight games, as each of its last four contests have been one-goal decisions, with one ending in overtime and another being resolved in a shootout. The Blue Jackets and Maple Leafs split their first two meetings of the season, with each team recording a one-goal victory. Take Columbus +1.5 goals at -135.
+445 5-1 IN LAST 6 NHL PICKS
ATLANTA @ DETROIT | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
DETROIT +8
ANALYSIS: My model says the Pistons cover in more than 60 percent of the simulations, so you're getting strong value with them at this number. Detroit has won three of its last four contests, and its lone defeat in that span was by just three points at Washington. The Hawks have posted back-to-back victories, both by fewer than seven points, after losing at Boston. Look for the Pistons to at least keep it close.

SAN FRAN. @ GONZAGA | 03/07 | 9:00 PM EST
GONZAGA -13
ANALYSIS: This line is way too low. The Bulldogs won both of their first two matchups by 16 points. The Bulldogs haven’t played in ten days because of their double bye in this tournament. The Bulldogs are the best team in college basketball and it’s not close. They are looking to make a statement in their first game in March. The Dons are no match for this team as the Bulldogs will likely beat them by 15+ for the third time this season. Lay the points.

L.A. LAKERS @ SAN ANTONIO | 03/07 | 8:30 PM EST
L.A. LAKERS 110
ANALYSIS: While the Lakers are far from being the NBA's hottest team, they did knock off the Warriors over the weekend and have momentum heading into Monday. The Spurs have dropped four straight and Dejounte Murray (calf) is questionable. I'll back the Lakers squad that's secured a 1-0 record against San Antonio without LeBron James available earlier this season.

FEATURED PICK
DELAWARE @ TOWSON | 03/07 | 6:00 PM EST
TOWSON -4.5
ANALYSIS: Towson has won and covered against Delaware this season at home and away. The Tigers come in hot, winning their last eight, and tied for first in the CAA, at 15-3. Delaware comes off a win against Drexel yesterday but lost its last two home games and failed to cover its previous three. In a do-or-die situation, Towson rides momentum and a better defense to cover.
CHARLESTON @ UNC-WILM. | 03/07 | 8:30 PM EST
UNC-WILM. +1
ANALYSIS: UNC Wilmington has been one of the more inspiring stories of 2021-22 as it lost three starters through the portal before the season began. The squad is the little engine that could. The Seahawks have been underrated and underpriced all season, playing most of their games as underdogs but winning enough to be tied for the CAA lead at 15-3. They went 18-10 ATS, yet Charleston is a short favorite here. No respect. People say smoke and mirrors, I say two senior guards smartly running the show. UNC Justin Perri
SAN FRAN. @ GONZAGA | 03/07 | 9:00 PM EST
SAN FRAN. +14
ANALYSIS: I understand that Gonzaga is good but this is March, objectives change. Gonzaga does not need to flex their muscles to stay atop the AP Top 25 anymore- they just need to win the game. That will be their focus and San Francisco should be poised to give them a decent run for their money. That being said, 14 points is just too big for this time of the year and laying that much in March should be a red flag, regardless of the team. The market has moved this from 12, and I really don't think the market ever knows what its doing, so I'll get the extra two points here and take +14. I know it's a bold prediction but I think Gonzaga only wins by two buckets. I'm splitting this bet into two and putting half a unit on the SF 1H +8, as that will be the Under+Dog play today.
+139 8-6 IN LAST 14 CBB ATS PICKS
FURMAN @ CHATTANOOGA | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
UNDER 137
ANALYSIS: A ticket gets punched to the big dance tonight in Asheville and I expect the game pace to be slowed as every bucket will count. These teams have stayed under the number in 8 of their last 10 meetings and Furman has struggled to go over against teams that allow less than 67ppg like the Mocs. It's champ week and while these teams might try to get a fast start, I would not be shocked if this slows to a snail's crawl in the second half. Grab U137 as it is already coming down, I'd play to 134.5.

FEATURED PICK
EDMONTON @ CALGARY | 03/07 | 9:30 PM EST
CALGARY -180
ANALYSIS: Battle of Alberta is renewed. Edmonton is a bit thin on the blue line due to injury and also without key forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Calgary is about as healthy as possible and has just two losses in its past 15 games. Red-hot Elias Lindholm leads the NHL in goals since Feb. 1. The Flames are 9-1 in their past 10 as home favorites.
+468 71-46 IN LAST 117 NHL ML PICKS
NC STATE @ CLEMSON | 03/08 | 4:30 PM EST
CLEMSON -228
ANALYSIS: ACC Tournament action Tuesday from Brooklyn and I'm taking this now because it may only rise. Clemson will have its regular starting five for the first time in more than a month due to injury. Hunter Tyson (10.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg) returned from a month absence in the penultimate game of the regular season and PJ Hall (15.4 ppg, 5.7 rpg) did in the finale after a missing a few weeks. Clemson is on a four-game winning streak as it is. The Wolfpack finished last in the ACC and might fire Coach Kevin Keatts not long after this game if they lose as I expect them to.
+2131 170-107-3 IN LAST 280 CBB PICKS
TORONTO @ COLUMBUS | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
COLUMBUS +1.5
ANALYSIS: The Leafs might have a goaltending problem on their hands as neither Petr Mrazek (starts tonight) or Jack Campbell has been great of late. Toronto also traveled to Columbus without winger Ondrej Kase (23 points) and blueliner Rasmus Sandin (15 points). The Jackets have played four straight one-goal games, losing three. That's all we need here. Puckline at -135.

TORONTO @ COLUMBUS | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
COLUMBUS 180
ANALYSIS: Blue Jackets have lost 4 of their last 5 games overall but each of the last 3 losses have been against good teams by just 1 goal. Maple Leafs have lost 2 in a row and 5 of their last 8 games themselves. Leafs are worse on the road at 16-9-3 this season while the Jackets are better at home at 15-11-3 on the season. Leafs have looked really bad lately losing as -410 and -212 favorites their last two games. Take the value on the Jackets at plus money.

CHARLESTON @ UNC-WILM. | 03/07 | 8:30 PM EST
UNC-WILM. +2
ANALYSIS: No. 6 seed Charleston just played its best game of the season. I don't think the Cougars can replicate that performance versus No. 2 UNC Wilmington in the CAA semifinals tonight. The Seahawks have been money as underdogs (11-1 ATS run), and they beat Charleston by six and eight points this season (covering by a combined 20 points). In fact, the Seahawks are 5-0-1 ATS in the past six meetings. The difference in Monday's matchup should again be UNC Wilmington's ball pressure, which forced an astounding 45 turnovers in the regular-season matchups. Grab the points.

WRIGHT ST. @ CLEV. ST. | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
WRIGHT ST. -1
ANALYSIS: This point spread should sway right up until game time. The Vikings represented the Horizon League in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. While they have talent necessary to get back, they faltered with four losses in February. Expect Wright State to capitalize and avenge the two regular-season losses to Cleveland State. Play the Raiders.
LOUISIANA @ GEORGIA ST. | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
GEORGIA ST. -3.5
ANALYSIS: Over the years, the Sun Belt Conference has been one in which bettors can ride the hot team during tournament action. Georgia State fits the bill as it is riding an incredible nine-game winning streak. To put it into context, when the Panthers defeated UL Lafayette on Jan. 22, their record was 6-9. In what will be a tight contest until the end, expect Georgia State to defeat the Ragin' Cajuns for the third time this season.
FURMAN @ CHATTANOOGA | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
CHATTANOOGA -2.5
ANALYSIS: Another NCAA Tournament automatic bid is on the line in the Southern Conference championship game as Furman, which has the name recognition to bettors, takes on Chattanooga. The Mocs won the regular-season title and defeated the Paladins in both of their matchups. Each contest was close, however, as Chattanooga posted a two-point victory at home and a six-point triumph at Furman. Look for the Mocs to accomplish the difficult task of sweeping the season series on a neutral court.

ATLANTA @ DETROIT | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
DETROIT +7.5
ANALYSIS: The Pistons have become a handful down the stretch. They are not only 5-2 over their last seven games, but they went 7-0 ATS during that stretch. That included two games against the Celtics and one each against the Cavaliers, Hornets and Raptors, so they haven’t exactly had an easy schedule, either. The Hawks are only 10-21 ATS on the road, so while I think the Pistons lose this game, I can see them keeping things relatively close.

CHARLESTON @ UNC-WILM. | 03/07 | 8:30 PM EST
OVER 148
ANALYSIS: UNCW doesn't rate as a high-tempo team on the season, but both scoring and pace have picked up notably when the Seahawks faced high-flying Charleston. Pat Kelsey's Cougars rank No. 2 nationally in adjusted tempo according to KenPom.com, and the both regular season meetings with UNCW have reached at least 74 possessions and 164 points. Instead of handicapping the winner as Charleston fights to avoid a third loss to UNCW this season, I like attacking the style of game I expect in a matchup that should see the Cougars dictate pace.
+90 2-1 IN LAST 3 CBB PICKS
LOUISIANA @ GEORGIA ST. | 03/07 | 7:00 PM EST
GEORGIA ST. -3.5
ANALYSIS: Louisiana is one of the first big surprises of conference tournament season, reaching the Sun Belt title game as the league's 8-seed. The Ragin' Cajuns have an up-tempo pace, a deep rotation and after taking down the 1-seed Texas State in the quarterfinals the bracket has broken their way. Unfortunately this is a bad matchup for Louisiana against Georgia State, as the Panthers have the conference's best defense and excel at forcing turnovers. That doesn't bode well for Louisiana, which rates at one of the worst teams in Division I at limiting turnovers. Georgia State won by 7 when these two teams played 10 days ago, and I think the Panthers match that margin tonight.
