TORONTO @ CHARLOTTE | 03/13 | 7:00 PM EST
CHARLOTTE -2
ANALYSIS: We are going to jump this Saturday line now because it likely will rise -- the Raptors remain without three starters in Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby in COVID protocols (plus two reserves). It's also the front end of a back-to-back for them. Charlotte is healthy as of this writing.

PHILADELPHIA -120
ANALYSIS: The Flyers are 1-2 in their past three games despite outshooting all three opponents by a combined 103-68 margin. Both losses were against these Capitals. Washington is 3-0 in its past three despite getting outshot in all three games by a combined 101-79 mark. The Flyers are ranked No. 3 in face-off win percentage, while the Capitals are ranked No. 23 this season. Take the hungry host!

PORTLAND -4.5
ANALYSIS: When these teams last met, on Jan. 7 in Portland, the Blazers won by 18 with Damian Lillard dominating (39 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals). Portland is 10-8 on the road this season. My model says the Blazers cover almost two-thirds of the time and win by 10, so you're getting strong value at this number.

Rotation #610
Wichita State -4 over Cincinnati
Wichita State had an interim coach this year in Issac Brown who then earned his way to now be the regular full time coach of the Shockers. I thought this team would dip off after Gregg Marshall left, but maybe the pixie dust of his recruiting is left over and we will judge Brown based on his recruits in the future. This team will be better when they force turnovers and share the ball a little more. Cincinnati doesn’t have a great offense this year and they also are bad behind the three point line. The American Conference is all about defense, but they are middle of the road when it comes to that as well. I think the Shockers are the better team and they have a few really clutch players. Look for this team to be up big in three point differential. The Shockers don’t give the ball away enough for Cincinnati to make up the difference. Take Wichita State.

Rotation #616
Texas -1.5 over Oklahoma State
Mike Boynton is the real coach of the year. This team does not have the experience to be doing what they are doing now, but they are doing it! Cade Cunningham is amazing and I really do think this team could cut down the nets in the NCAA Tournament. The bad news is they are young and they just played a peak out game by beating Baylor. It’s so hard to comeback the very next day and match that energy against a Texas team that got an absolute gift by not having to play a game yesterday because Kansas dropped out with covid. Texas is a veteran team that should be able to take advantage of the aggressive play of the Cowboys and to get a few points off of turnovers. This team has a lot of juniors and seniors who want to win the BIG 12 Title and have experience and the calm nature to handle the nerves today. I like the Longhorns on the glass and they certainly have the offensive and defensive talent to win this championship and the talent to make a deep run in next weeks tournament. All eyes are on Cade Cunningham and the Cowboys. The Longhorns are going to have something to say about that. Take Texas.

INDIANA @ PHOENIX | 03/13 | 10:00 PM EST
INDIANA +6.5
ANALYSIS: Indiana has been struggling, but it has come against a legitimately tough set of mainly road opponents. The Pacers can't allow this game to just go by the wayside, considering their recent struggles. Indiana has covered in just one of its last nine games, while Phoenix has covered in eight of its last nine games. Teams that have covered in at least eight of their last 10 games against teams that covered in no more than two of their last 10 games are 64-88-4 ATS.

TORONTO @ CHARLOTTE | 03/13 | 7:00 PM EST
CHARLOTTE -2.5
ANALYSIS: The Raptors will remain shorthanded Saturday with Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby all still in the health and safety protocols. They have lost three straight games since those three went out, two of which came by at least seven points. The Hornets are sporting a healthy roster coming into this matchup, so I like them to cover this small line.

PORTLAND @ MINNESOTA | 03/13 | 8:00 PM EST
PORTLAND -4.5
ANALYSIS: In their first game out of the All-Star break, the Timberwolves defeated the Pelicans by 30 points. Prior to that, they had lost nine straight games, eight of which came by at least five points. The only other time they faced Portland this season, they lost by 18 points. Without D’Angelo Russell (knee) and Malik Beasley (suspension), this has the makings of another potential blowout.

ANALYSIS: The last time these teams faced off in Omaha, it was all Hoyas. Ride the wave of Patrick Ewing in The Garden for a team that’s going to steal a NCAA Tournament bid with a win.

GEORGIA TECH @ FLORIDA ST. | 03/13 | 8:30 PM EST
GEORGIA TECH +4.5
ANALYSIS: This is not the same Georgia Tech team that lost to Mercer earlier in the year. The Yellow Jackets are loaded with experience and boast ACC Player of the Year Moses Wright. The rest day should help, too; they got Friday off after Virginia had to withdraw because of COVID. The rest is the key to a cover. Take the dog.

MEMPHIS +7.5
ANALYSIS: Memphis continues its tale of two seasons, The Tigers started 1-8 ATS and have since gone 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games. These teams played six days ago, and Houston won on a buzzer beater. Memphis has the No. 2 defense in the country in points per possession allowed. My numbers have Houston by four.

INDIANA @ PHOENIX | 03/13 | 10:00 PM EST
PHOENIX -7
ANALYSIS: The Pacers have been struggling, losing six of their last seven games with their only win coming against Cleveland 10 days ago. I don’t see them getting better tonight. The Suns are playing the best ball in the West now that the Jazz has gone 0-3 ATS in their last three. Why not get the No. 1 seed? It’s an obtainable goal. The Suns have won and covered their last five. They get the double-digit win tonight.

OREGON ST. +9
ANALYSIS: Oregon State has been a spread covering machine. The Beavers are 19-6 ATS in their last 25 games. Colorado won both of the regular season meetings. The first one was by 29 points in Boulder, but the second was a nail-biter, by four points in Corvallis. Wayne Tinkle's team has not only been covering, the Beavers have won five of their last six games. My numbers have Colorado by five.

Oskeim Sports Game: (629) New Mexico State at (630) Grand Canyon
Date/Time: Mar 13 2021 10:00 PM EST
Betting Line Provider: Bookmaker
Play Rating: 5%
Play: Grand Canyon +1.5 (-110)

Grand Canyon swept the regular-season series and looks to reach the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history. New Mexico State defeated the Lopes in the conference tournament in both 2018 and 2019 but this year's Grand Canyon squad has the talent to finally reach the Big Dance. Grand Canyon is a profitable 15-5 ATS in its last 20 games overall, including 9-3 ATS following a win, 10-3 ATS versus teams with a winning record, 4-1 ATS in neutral-site affairs, and 4-0 ATS as an underdog.

My math model favors the Lopes by 3.15 points in this game but the betting market has inflated the point spread due to New Mexico State's name (and program) recognition. The Aggies are overvalued in the market as evidenced by their 3-7 ATS record following a win and 4-9 ATS mark versus .601 or greater opposition. Finally, Grand Canyon is ranked 19th in the nation in rebounds per game (39.8) and 13th in field goal percentage (49.44), whereas the Aggies are ranked 103rd (36.8) and 241st (42.87), respectively, in those statistical categories. Take the Lopes and invest with confidence.

NORTH TEXAS +1.5
ANALYSIS: Expect North Texas to continue to play stingy defense, rely on timely baskets and get an automatic NCAA Tournament bid. Play North Texas.

OREGON ST. @ COLORADO | 03/13 | 10:30 PM EST
COLORADO -9
ANALYSIS: Oregon State’s senior backcourt of Ethan Thompson and Zach Reichle has vaulted the Beavers to the Pac-12 title game. They’ll face a Colorado team that has had two close calls against California and USC in the Pac-12 Tournament. Expect the Buffaloes to raise their level of play and defeat Oregon State for the third time this season. Play Colorado.
