MICHIGAN @ TENNESSEE | 03/19 | 5:15 PM EDT
TENNESSEE -5.5
ANALYSIS: Michigan starting point guard DeVante' Jones (concussion) is practicing and could return for Saturday's game versus surging Tennessee. Either way, I like the Vols to continue a dominant run that's seen them win eight in a row and 13 of 14. Tennessee is balanced and deeper -- Michigan got just four points from its bench Thursday -- and the Vols rank sixth in overall efficiency and second in defensive efficiency, per KenPom. Back Tennessee to pull away and cover its fifth straight.
SAINT MARY'S @ UCLA | 03/19 | 7:10 PM EDT
SAINT MARY'S +3
ANALYSIS: Despite Thursday's results, there's still value on the underdog. I love UCLA but the Gaels match up well. Saint Mary's just destroyed Indiana and beat Gonzaga not too long ago. With coach Randy Bennett dictating pace, the Gaels have the size and experience to take down UCLA, or at least take this game to the wire. Look for Saint Mary's to improve to 10-3-2 ATS in its last 15 games vs. winning teams.
VCU @ WAKE FOREST | 03/19 | 4:00 PM EDT
VCU +5
ANALYSIS: VCU cranked up its attack in the first round of the NIT, shooting 58 percent in a 90-79 win over Princeton, and the Rams should keep it going at Wake Forest on Saturday. The Demon Deacons are susceptible to turnovers (13.7 per game) and that could mean extra possessions for VCU, which forces a whopping 17.1 turnovers per game (7th nationally). VCU relishes the underdog role (9-2 ATS). Grab the points.

ST. PETER'S @ MURRAY ST. | 03/19 | 7:45 PM EDT
UNDER 130
ANALYSIS: Kentucky (-18) got the Saint Peter’s squeeze on Thursday and lost, so what's to stop the Peacocks now? They have won and covered in their last eight, and now they have Cinderella’s slipper as a No. 15 seed. The defense has held opponents under 32 percent shooting over the past eight games and will be disruptive again. An upset is possible, but under is the better play.
SAINT MARY'S @ UCLA | 03/19 | 7:10 PM EDT
SAINT MARY'S +2.5
ANALYSIS: Saint Mary’s showed its true colors by holding Indiana to 18-of-53 shooting in Thursday’s 82-53 win. That gives the Gaels one of the most impressive eight-game stretches in the NCAA Tournament, which includes playing Gonzaga three times, beating them once and going 1-0-2 ATS in those meetings. Saint Mary’s has a few more games to play in the Tournament. I think Saint Mary’s wins outright, but I took the points.

N. MEX. ST. @ ARKANSAS | 03/19 | 8:40 PM EDT
N. MEX. ST. 240
ANALYSIS: Aggies' point guard Teddy Allen was phenomenal in their first game. He put up 37 points and put the Aggies on his back. He is their only player that attempted a free throw, and he went 13/13, including 7/7 in the last minute to close out the game. The Razorbacks really struggled against the Catamounts' guards and it will only get tougher in this game. The Aggies and Teddy Allen are going to get started early and close the game out late to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
RICHMOND @ PROVIDENCE | 03/19 | 6:10 PM EDT
PROVIDENCE -2.5
ANALYSIS: The Friars quieted the critics after taking out the Jackrabbits in the first round. This spread is disrespectful to the Friars. The Spiders would not have been a tournament if they hadn’t won the A10 tournament. The Friars are a very good defensive team which Iowa is not. The Spiders are not a great team and it will show in this game. Take the Friars to cover this small spread.
PFW @ DRAKE | 03/19 | 12:00 PM EDT
PFW +10
ANALYSIS: This spread is way too large. The Mastodons are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. The Bulldogs are the better team, but not by much. These teams have comparable stats as they average the same amount of points and the Bulldogs allow three less points. This game should be tight the whole way and the Mastodons should cover this large spread.

N. CAROLINA @ BAYLOR | 03/19 | 12:10 PM EDT
BAYLOR -5.5
ANALYSIS: I was ready to take the points against Baylor but this line is far too small. The defending champs looked good against Norfolk and I do not think UNC is going to be able to handle the dual-sided threat the Bears bring to every game. The Bears have the pedigree and the experience to get this done. They've also covered in 6 of 7 road or neutral games in which they were the favorite this season. I have this game projected to be a 7 point margin of victory for Baylor. At this time of year that's still actionable, especially with how good the Big 12 has looked. Lay it.

NEW ORLEANS @ PORTLAND | 03/19 | 10:00 PM EDT
PORTLAND -9
ANALYSIS: My model says Portland covers almost 70 percent of the time and wins by 18, so you're getting strong value at this number. The Pilots are having their best season in more than a decade -- their 18 wins are the most by Portland since 2010-2011 -- so they should be motivated to be playing in this tournament. They'll be prepared for New Orleans having played in the rough West Coast Conference against the likes of Gonzaga and Saint Mary's. I can't say the same thing about the Privateers, who lost in the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament against Southeastern Louisiana. I'm flying with the Pilots.

MICHIGAN @ TENNESSEE | 03/19 | 5:15 PM EDT
MICHIGAN +6.5
ANALYSIS: I faded Michigan in Round 1 when starting point guard DeVante' Jones was ruled out. That looked like smart play for a half. He reportedly will be back today and I believe that U-M can hang with the Vols if not win outright. The SEC is looking overrated.
OREGON @ TEXAS A&M | 03/19 | 12:00 PM EDT
TEXAS A&M -211
ANALYSIS: I had a decent day in NCAA hoops Friday but got obliterated at night. These things happen. Maybe I am a vampire. One of two things will happen here after A&M coach Buzz Williams essentially wrote the Odyssey explaining why his team shouldn't have been excluded from the Big Dance: The Aggies will go nuts in the NIT or lose by 40. It is a true home game and I've been to College Station. Not much else to do at noon on a Saturday (earlier there) so I'll choose nuts.

EDMONTON -230
ANALYSIS: Playing this with Minnesota over Chicago. Frankly, I'm not sure why this isn't -300 or so. The Oilers are rolling right now and the Devils have mailed it in on the season and are expected to remain without one of their better players in Pavel Zacha (28 points).
CHICAGO @ MINNESOTA | 03/19 | 2:00 PM EDT
MINNESOTA -260
ANALYSIS: I am playing this with Edmonton ML. Chicago just traded one of its top goal scorers in Brandon Hagel -- I am a Hawks fan and that hurts but they did get a spectacular haul from the Lightning; just won't help this year -- and it's backup Kevin Lankinen in net. He has allowed at least four goals in four straight.

Kansas -11.5 over Creighton
At the start of the season, it did not look like Kansas would be a great team, but Bill Self worked his magic. The Jayhawks are a unit that doesn’t have a deep bench. Creighton is a great team, but without Ryan Nembhard, it will be tough against a powerhouse today. Take Kansas.
5:15 PM EST
Michigan/Tennessee Under 136
Tennessee is not a good offensive team, so anything is possible. Michigan is hanging in there, but this is not their best team. Both teams have excellent athletes, which will help both defenses today. Getting into next weekend is very important, so I think the scoring tightens up and is a lower-scoring game. Take the Under.
9:40 PM EST
Gonzaga -10 over Memphis
Memphis is fun to watch, but they are from a weak conference and do their best on their home floor. Turnover haunts this team, and I can’t imagine the Zags scoring off them today. Gonzaga has been a powerhouse with very few flaws. Mark Few is an excellent coach who should have his team ready to advance into next week. Take Gonzaga.
