ANALYSIS: These two teams just played in Brooklyn on Monday, a game in which the Raptors won by 36 points. Kyrie Irving wasn’t eligible to play, and he’ll miss this game, as well, since unvaccinated players are not allowed into Canada. To further complicate matters for the Nets, Andre Drummond suffered a knee injury Monday that might keep him out for this rematch. What’s even crazier about the Raptors blowing out the Nets was that Fred VanVleet (knee) didn’t play and Pascal Siakam shot 2-for-14 from the field. I think VanVleet might play in this game, Siakam performs better, and the Raptors roll again. It’s also worth noting that the Raptors are 9-3 ATS in the second game of a back-to-back set, while the Nets are 2-8 ATS in such situations.
