NC STATE @ SYRACUSE | 03/10 | 12:00 PM EST
NC STATE +2.5
ANALYSIS: The Wolfpack have won five straight while shooting 49.6 percent during that streak. They are playing with revenge after losing both regular-season matchups to Syracuse, one by three and the other by nine. Syracuse has been dominant at home but much less so on the road, where the Orange went 2-7 SU and ATS. This is a neutral site, obviously, but I still think we won't see Syracuse's peak performance. Take the points but don't be surprised by an outright upset.
UTEP @ FAU | 03/10 | 9:30 PM EST
FAU +3.5
ANALYSIS: UTEP nearly upset Kansas, the Miners' fifth straight cover, and that has thrown this line out of whack. The Miners weren't facing a focused group of Jayhawks. It was scheduled simply to give Kansas some activity before the Big 12 Tournament. These teams are fairly even. FAU ranks second in the conference in scoring margin, albeit against an easier schedule than UTEP's. The Owls should have an advantage on the glass. The Owls lead Conference USA in rebounding margin (8.5), while UTEP is 10th (-0.7). Grab the points.
MINNESOTA @ NORTHWESTERN | 03/10 | 6:30 PM EST
NORTHWESTERN -2
ANALYSIS: Minnesota coach Richard Pitino's decision to play center Liam Robbins on a hobbled ankle likely will cost him his job. Now the Golden Gophers have lost seven in a row, and won't have Robbins or Gabe Kalscheur, their best defender, for Wednesday's Big Ten Tournament opener versus Northwestern. And Brandon Johnson, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds in the regular-season finale, an overtime loss to Rutgers, was held out of practice with an ankle injury. He'll play but might not be 100 percent. Look for Northwestern to win its fourth straight.

SAN ANTONIO @ DALLAS | 03/10 | 8:30 PM EST
DALLAS -185
ANALYSIS: The Spurs probably will be full strength for the first time in a while off COVID protocols, but are those handful of guys really in great game shape after not playing for several weeks? Doubtful. The Mavs won the lone meeting so far Jan. 22 in the Alamo City and also have taken the past two in Dallas vs. San Antonio. The week off (not counting All-Star Game for Luka) should work wonders on Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, who both have battled back trouble.

OVER 129
ANALYSIS: Mountain West Tournament first-round game from Las Vegas, and my model shows more than 72 percent of simulations between the Falcons and Rebels going Over the small total of 129. The Over is 4-0 in UNLV's past four overall.
OTTAWA @ EDMONTON | 03/10 | 8:00 PM EST
UNDER 6.5
ANALYSIS: These teams combined for five goals in Edmonton's victory Monday and that was with each club starting its backup goaltender. My model forecasts more than 65 percent of simulations on Wednesday's game to stay Under the high total of 6.5 goals. The Under has hit in the past four in this series.

BUTLER @ XAVIER | 03/10 | 6:00 PM EST
BUTLER +6.5
ANALYSIS: East Tennessee State transfer Bo Hodges should play in this game. Butler has played well since the beginning of February, going 6-3 ATS during that span. The Bulldogs lost both games to the Musketeers this year and will have revenge on their minds. Xavier has struggled since the beginning of February, going 1-6 ATS. The Musketeers struggle as a favorite, having gone 3-9 ATS for the season.

WASHINGTON ST. @ ARIZONA ST. | 03/10 | 4:00 PM EST
ARIZONA ST. -1
ANALYSIS: This has been a disappointing year for Bobby Hurley’s crew (10-13), but this is a new season. Will the Sun Devils just give up and start thinking about spring break? I don't think Hurley will let that happen. I just know they are the much more talented team. Take ASU.
MIAMI (FLA.) @ CLEMSON | 03/10 | 2:30 PM EST
UNDER 126.5
ANALYSIS: Miami struggles to score (66.4 points per game), and Clemson is very good in the half court on defense (61.8). This will be painful to watch for some, but not those who take the Under.
SAN JOSE ST. @ WYOMING | 03/10 | 2:00 PM EST
WYOMING -12
ANALYSIS: I’ve called San Jose State games this year, and the Spartans really struggle to score. First-year Wyoming coach Jeff Linder has the Cowboys trending in the right direction. Easy cover.
LOYOLA-MD. @ ARMY | 03/10 | 5:30 PM EST
LOYOLA-MD. +2.5
ANALYSIS: Loyola’s Tavaras Hardy was my assistant coach when I played at Northwestern. His team is loaded with young talent that will eventually win the Patriot League. The Greyhounds got better as the season went on, and they are in line for a peak performance Wednesday.

SAN ANTONIO @ DALLAS | 03/10 | 8:30 PM EST
DALLAS -4
ANALYSIS: No team was affected by the abnormalities of the 2020-21 season in the early going more than Dallas. The Mavericks rallied late in the first half of the campaign but still really need victories. Look for them to get one on Wednesday. Dallas posted a low-scoring 87-78 victory over Oklahoma City in its final game before the All-Star break. The Thunder's output was 34.1 points less than the league average. Teams that allowed at least 25 points fewer than the league average in their previous game are 237-197-6 ATS.

NC STATE @ SYRACUSE | 03/10 | 12:00 PM EST
SYRACUSE -2.5
ANALYSIS: ACC Tournament game from Greensboro. Syracuse won the two meetings against NC State this season, although the Orange didn’t cover the home game. They covered in Raleigh, which is their last win on the road. They won only two away games overall and covered only two. But SU's recent body of work is impressive with wins against UNC and Clemson; of course, both at home. The angle I’m playing here is Syracuse has to win to have a chance at the NCAA Tournament. Jerry Palm lists the Orange as one of the last 4 out. The season is on the line, so Syracuse covers.

KANSAS ST. @ TCU | 03/10 | 6:30 PM EST
UNDER 128
ANALYSIS: Jamie Dixon's Horned Frogs play at a very slow pace. They are 7-5 under away from home. Kansas State plays at an extremely slow pace. The Wildcats offense ranks 242nd in points efficiency. Their defense is a respectable 124th in the nation. Kansas State is 16-9 under on the season, including under in the last six. Both of the Wildcats' games against the Horned Frogs went under.

WASHINGTON @ MEMPHIS | 03/10 | 8:00 PM EST
MEMPHIS -3.5
ANALYSIS: These teams just met last week in a game Memphis won by 14 points. The Grizzlies provide a tough matchup for the Wizards, who play basically no defense as they try to push the pace and outscore their opponents. However, the Grizzlies have the eighth-best defensive rating in the league, which is part of the reason why they were able to hold the Wizards to 111 points in their previous meeting. Wednesday's contest could be closer, but I still like the Grizzlies to cover this reasonable line.

TEXAS A&M @ VANDERBILT | 03/10 | 7:00 PM EST
VANDERBILT -1
ANALYSIS: SEC Tournament first-round game in Nashville, so obviously a small advantage for Vanderbilt as the limited fans in attendance should be pro-Commodores. The Aggies have played just two games since the end of January due to COVID and lost both. Vandy isn't great but has a terrific player in Scotty Pippen Jr. The first-team All-SEC selection is second in the SEC with 20.6 points per game and 4.9 assists per game. The Commodores rank second in the SEC in made three-pointers per game (9.2). These schools didn't play this season. The Aggies are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall.

IONA @ SIENA | 03/10 | 5:00 PM EST
IONA +1
ANALYSIS: This game really should be for the MAAC championship, but Siena and Iona are meeting in the quarterfinals because the conference seeded teams based on league wins, not winning percentage. The Gaels have been dominant in their past two outings, most recently demolishing Quinnipiac 72-48 on Tuesday. They've been waiting for a shot at MAAC top dog Siena after losing both regular-season meetings last year. The teams did not play this season. The Saints are 0-10 alltime in the MAAC Tournament versus Iona, and I think that trend continues today.

BUCKNELL +11.5
ANALYSIS: This line has fallen for good reason. After starting 0-4, Bucknell has won and covered five of its last seven. The Raiders are playing for just the second time in 17 days and have had trouble covering the inflated spreads they draw (2-4 ATS last six times laying double digits). Back the Bison to be competitive.

WASHINGTON ST. @ ARIZONA ST. | 03/10 | 4:00 PM EST
WASHINGTON ST. +1
ANALYSIS: The young Cougars improved down the stretch and are playing with revenge after losing by three in overtime at Arizona State on Feb. 27. Issac Bonton (17.7 ppg, 4.0 apg) is expected to play after missing four of the past five games with an ankle injury. He did not play in the OT loss in Tempe. The Sun Devils closed their regular season with a 39-point loss at Utah, and are now on a 5-22-1 ATS skid dating to last season. Back Washington State.
AIR FORCE @ UNLV | 03/10 | 4:30 PM EST
AIR FORCE +12
ANALYSIS: The Falcons lost by 10 and 5 in their meetings with UNLV this season, and I think they can stay within this big number today. The Rebels allow opponents to shoot 37.3 percent from beyond the arc, which ranks 320th nationally. Air Force made 24 of 52 from deep in the losses to UNLV, and Wyoming just made 10 of 20 against the Rebels in the regular-season finale. Take the points.

NOTRE DAME @ N. CAROLINA | 03/10 | 9:00 PM EST
N. CAROLINA -6.5
ANALYSIS: The Tar Heels are playing their best basketball of the season. They have covered in seven of the last 11 games. The UNC defense, which ranks third in the conference, has not allowed a single ACC opponent to score more than a point per possession over the last three weeks. The Tar Heels still have a lot of work to do to reach the NCAA tournament. A loss here would be devastating. But I expect them to lock up a tournament bid with a win. Notre Dame is 1-5 ATS in its last six games, and the Fighting Irish are playing on back to back nights. The Notre Dame defense ranks 12th in the conference. There should be a lot of UNC fans on hand in a home court game.

CHARLOTTE @ UT-SAN ANTONIO | 03/10 | 6:30 PM EST
CHARLOTTE +5
ANALYSIS: Even though Charlotte has lost eight straight, its guard-heavy lineup matches up well with UTSA. Grab the value here on the underdog 49ers on the first day of the Conference USA Tournament.
MARQUETTE @ GEORGETOWN | 03/10 | 3:00 PM EST
MARQUETTE -3.5
ANALYSIS: Marquette enters the Big East tournament having won four of its last five games. On Wednesday the Golden Eagles face a Georgetown team that played them tough in a 64-60 Marquette win on Jan. 2. In the game, the Golden Eagles erased a 16-point halftime deficit. Expect those second half adjustments and a proper game plan to lead Marquette to a better all-around performance on Wednesday. Take the Golden Eagles.

ARMY -3
ANALYSIS: While this is a Patriot League semifinal game, it is a true home game for Army at West Point (no fans). The Black Knights are the fourth seed in the tournament and obliterated 89-66 on Saturday. American is at least as good as Loyola (Md.), which is the the No. 9 seed. While this is the first meeting of the season between these schools, the home team has won in each of the previous six regular-season meetings. The Greyhounds are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as underdogs, while the Black Knights are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 at home vs. teams with a losing road record. Loyola is 2-6 SU (3-5 ATS) away this year.

ANALYSIS: Florida Atlantic is riding a four-game winning streak and has won its last five contests by an average of 8.8 points while shooting 46.2 percent from the field. This line opened at UTEP -2.5 and has steamed up to this current number. I like the underdog Owls.
