Denver Nuggets -2.5 vs. Chicago Bulls
PLAY: 5* Denver Nuggets -2.5

The United Center will be the site of tonight’s battle between the host Chicago Bulls and the visiting Denver Nuggets. The Bulls recent trade before the deadline included the acquisition of center Brad Miller who is averaging 12 points per game and 8 rebounds and forward John Salmons who averages 18 points per game. The Bulls lost Drew Gooden and his 13 points per game and Andres Nocioni in that trade. Teams often talk about chemistry and how important it is to their success or lack thereof with these recent changes we believe that chemistry will be missing when the new look Bulls take the floor tonight. The Bulls are coming in off a win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, 113 to 104 as a two-point road favorite. That win is not good news for the Bulls from an ATS standpoint as they are 3-12 ATS off a win against a division rival over the last 2 seasons and 7-18 ATS after a division game over the last 2 seasons. Chicago is 3-9 ATS their last 12 at the United Center. These two teams last met on November 23rd of this season in Denver with the Nuggets winning 114 to 101 as a 9 point home favorite. The Bulls are 28-43 ATS revenging a loss the last 2 seasons. NBA home underdogs of 2 to 3.5 points who are coming off a SU and ATS win in their last game are 39-60-1 ATS. Denver is 10-4 ATS as a road favorite their last 14 in that role. NBA teams playing on the road after three previous road games with a line range of 2 to 3.5 points are 23-11 ATS. NBA road teams after playing four consecutive road games are 14-5 ATS and if they are installed as a road favorite of 2 to 3.5 points they are 9-2 ATS. Denver is 10-2 their last 12 games while the Bulls are only at .500 with a 6-6 record. With the Bulls going through a mid-season transformation and the Nuggets playing extremely well we will back the visitor here as the Nuggets roll past the new-look Bulls on Friday night at the United Center. Lay the short price with the host as they make it 11 ATS wins as a road favorite.

PROJECTED FINAL SCORE: (5*) Denver Nuggets 107 Chicago Bulls 99
