STU FEINER

100 Dime NBA Double Digit Cover

Portland Trailblazers (-4') at Minnesota Timberwolves (205')

I know Portland has dropped five straight on the highway after Wednesday’s loss at San Antonio, but this sorry Timberwolves team is the kind of team they’ve owned (8-2 SU/ATS last 10 meetings) and the kind of team they will blowout tonight. When big man Al Jefferson was lost to the year to injury this T-Wolves team tanked it. They’re just 1-8 SU and 2-7 ATS in their last nine after Wednesday’s 17-point loss to the visiting Jazz. They’ve permitted more than 100 points in each of those nine games and Minnesota has dropped seven straight at home. The Blazers have covered four of their last four at the Target Center, three of their last four overall and four of five when laying between 3 ½ to 6 points on the road. They’ve won six straight and 10 of 12 in this series and look for a run and gun effort from Brandon Roy as the Blazers blow ‘em out.

PORTLAND (-4') 100 Dimes

30 Dime Ivy League Winner

Cornell (133') at Dartmouth (+9')

Dartmouth is playing confident basketball coming off of road wins at both Penn and Princeton last weekend as the Green is 5-2 SU and 6-1 ATS in its last seven games. They’ve won and covered three straight at home and are on their home court for the first time in five games playing a Cornell team that is just 2-2 SU/ATS its last four on the road, including blowout losses at Princeton and Yale as a chalk. Just too many points to cover for a Big Red team that needed two overtimes to beat visiting Dartmouth 13 days ago. Dartmouth is on a spread runs of 7-1 at home and 12-2 in Ivy games and with the Ancient Eight’s leading scorer Alex Burnett leading the way, Dartmouth will stay inside this bloated price.

DARTMOUTH (+9') 30 Dimes

30 Dime Ivy League Winner

Columbia (+5) at Harvard (127') - 7 p.m. EST

The Lions play well against the Crimson and are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS the last five meetings after knocking off the visiting Crimson this season. Harvard is just 5-6 SU and 1-6 ATS at home this year and on further spread slides of 0-6 when laying points and 3-7 in conference games. They’ve also lost seven of their last nine on the scoreboard and tonight star guard Jeremy Lin is hobbling after spraining his ankle last week at Princeton. Columbia has covered 10 of the last 11 meetings and are a solid 5-0 ATS on Friday nights this season. Having won straight-up six of their last eight, look for the Lions to keep this one close and possibly steal this one again outright.
