Pitt +5 over MARQUETTE

Lot's of respect for Marquette's 9th year coach Tom Crean who's Eagles are 56-14 SU on this court L4Y. Including 12-1 SU TY. Along the way he's established a record of 94-64 ATS as dog to -9. This year his 17-6 SU team is highlighted by an explosive 3 guard offensive trailing Pitt by a game in the loss column will guarantee full incentive as will CTKO revenge from LY. More impressive, however, are the 19-5 SU Pitt Panthers. They have recorded a 7-4 SU mark in league play despite the loss of starting guard's Fields and Cook. Tonight however is the scheduled return of PG Fields. Though he may play only limited minutes, he will provide a huge emotional lift. Panthers are 3-0 ATS as dog TY, running their record under HC Dickson to 18-4 ATS as dog to -1. Look for Pitts perimeter defense to negate the Eagles excellence at guard while Panther big men, Blair and Young clean up on the inside.

INDIAN COWBOY

Dartmouth +2.5 (POD)

30 of 49 POD Winners (61%).

Dartmouth comes off an absolute spanking against Yale in their last leg of the road trip getting beat like a rag doll 58-97 - basically by 40 points on the road, the Big Green as any team will likely be furious after getting their tails handed to them and play a game against Columbia who is a decent team who they lost to by a bucket last year. In fact, Dartmouth has won straight up the last 4 times they have played in Dartmouth over the decade some home court makes a big deal in the Ivy. Dartmouth comes off 4 straight road losses, they return home, they return home after a near 40 point loss on top of that, they have revenge and they face a Columbia team that doesn't have any significant wins over top 200 teams so anything can happen here. I'll take the home team here, in particular the dog who the public seems to dislike here in an upset as I think Dartmouth has plenty of motivation to make the upset tonight. College Basketball and the NBA are all about motivation and the Big Green have a lot of it tonight. The Big Green are 5-1 as small dogs of late so they do well as small pups.
