SIENA vs. Ohio State
Play: Ohio State -2.5

The public darling early is Siena here but I like the Big 10 runner ups here to make a stand. Simply put any Big 10 team is battle tested and after the Biog 10 made a strong showing on Day 1, perhaps this conference is underrated by many including myself. The Buckeyes are battle tested and road warriors as well. OSU’s defense allowed just 59 ppg their last 5 games and Siena plays little defense and likes to run the floor, which if Ohio State shuts down, they win by 6-9 points. Also look at depth here, as Siena’s starters play almost the entire game with all averaging close to 34 minutes, and against a good defensive team, fatigue sets in.

Play on Ohio State

Lenny Del Genio

Boston Celtics at San Antonio Spurs
Prediction: San Antonio Spurs

Play on San Antonio at 8:35 ET. Keep playing against Boston until further notice. Now 1-10 ATS their last 11 games, injuries have hit this team at the worst time and it will ultimately cost them the top spot in the Eastern Conference. They could drop to #3 before all is said and done. Tonight, they get a rested Spurs team that they couldn?t beat when healthy, losing 105-99 at home back on February 8th. This is Boston?s third game in four nights. Take San Antonio.

LT Profits

New York Islanders @ Carolina Hurricanes Under 5.5

The New York Islanders upset the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 on the road on Sunday, but this is a team that usually struggles on the road, so do not look for another four-goal outburst when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes tonight.

In fact, the Islanders are averaging just 2.17 goals per game on the road this season, and prior to that Chicago game, the Isles had scored a grand total of 12 goals in their last nine road contests (1.33 goals per game), failing to exceed three goals in any of those contests. Also, this team is decimated by injuries right now, meaning that a lot of youngsters are getting their NHL feet wet.

The Hurricanes are still in the playoff hunt, and to that end, they have tightened things up a bit defensively as of late, allowing three goals or less in eight of their last 10 games. What is surprising about the Canes though is that they have scored more goals on the road than at home this season, averaging just 2.56 goals per game here in their own building. Thus, from the view of Carolina, we expect this to be a playoff-type game with lots of tight checking.

The Canes may get their badly needed points in the standings, but we think this will be a low scoring affair.

Pick: Islanders, Hurricanes Under 5.5

John Ryan

Los Angeles Kings vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
Play: Los Angeles Kings +240

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on the Kings as they face Pittsburgh. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 589-673 for just 46.7% winners, BUT has made a ton of dough accumulating 140.5 units in profits since 1996. These are the systems that work remarkably well on their own merit in the money line sports of the NHL and MLB. It is very rare to find any system of 10 years or more that has made over 100 units in profits. This one has so do yourself a favor and write it down and take advantage of it when games qualify. Penguins could be flat noting they are 1-7 against the money line (-7.2 Units) off a home blowout win by 3 goals or more this season. Take the Kings.

WUNDERDOG

Boston at San Antonio
Pick: UNDER 182.5

Despite their recent struggles, the Celtics still play defense, especially in the big games. They are now 18-5 to the UNDER on the road vs. teams with a home winning percentage of .600+. They are also 12-3 UNDER this season on the road vs. winning teams. The Celtics will bring their defense tonight. The Spurs can can match them in defensive intensity. They have held opponents here at home to 92.5 per game on the season and 87.4 per game over their last five. They have held 11 straight opponents here at home under 100. I like this one to finish UNDER the posted total.
