Monday College Basketball Baylor vs. Kansas Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

LAWRENCE, KS (ATS Consultants) – Two Big 12 teams that remain undefeated in conference play will square off at Allen Fieldhouse at 9:00PM ET today when No. 4 Kansas hosts Baylor. Will the Jayhawks cover?

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed Kansas as a 10-point favorite over Baylor while the over/under total is currently sitting at 142.5 points. The Bears head into tonight’s game with an 11-4 record overall and is 3-0 in conference play, while the Jayhawks are 14-1 and 2-0 versus the Big 12.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Jayhawks opened as 10-point favorites and while the spread has been bet up to 10.5 at some books, the majority of online and Vegas books list Kansas at -10. As for the total, it opened at 141 and has been bet up to 142.5.

NCAA FREE PICK: Take Kansas. According to the latest college basketball trends, Baylor is 8-20 ATS in their last 28 games following a S.U. win. Kansas is 18-8 ATS in their last 26 Monday games.

Kansas has revenge on their minds after losing to Baylor last year. Kansas will try to extend its longest winning streak in two seasons to 14 on Monday night. Baylor forwards Perry Jones III and Quincy Acy are now in the NBA after helping the Bears defeat Kansas 81-72 in the Big 12 conference tournament semifinal. Baylor has a solid frontcourt again but Kansas can counter with 7-foot center Jeff Withey and forward Kevin Young, both seniors. Withey, who finished with a career-best 25 points in a 68 54 road win versus then-No. 6 Baylor on Feb. 8, is averaging career highs with 13.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.8 blocks, which is second-best in the nation. He's tied for the Big 12 lead with six double-doubles, one more than Austin and two more than Jefferson. Young finished with a team-best 14 points, including eight of the Jayhawks' first 14 following their uninspired first half against Texas (60-46 win). Kansas is 18-3 all-time against Baylor and will play their best game at home in front of a hyped crowd.
