Let's get to work this week as I'd like a winning week and preferrably a 5-2 week as we look for winning week 9 of 13 in the NBA. For today, let's ride the Thunder at home against the Spurs. For starters, the line has not budged but if you wait until later in the day as we are on the non-public underdog here, you could get even a better line before tip-off. Remember, the Thunder went into San Antonio earlier this year and lost by 5 points as a 16 point underdog. I believe the home court will make a difference and if you check our blog out you will notice that I've been tracking the Thunder for quite some time and their respective ATS run. Remember, the Thunder are 40-24 ATS this year. This team was down by 20 to San Antonio after the first quarter on the road at SA and down by 18 at the end of the first half. This game was back in December and things have changed for the better for the Thunder. This team is 5-5 SU over their last 10 beating the likes of Dallas at home, Memphis on the road (remember, Mempihs beat the Pistons at the Palace just the other day), Washington at home, Philly at home and the Kings on the road in regulation which the Cavs did not even do - it took the Cavs overtime in that contest. In essence, we get to fade the public who is riding the San Antonio awfully hard here, we have the revenge with the Thunder who have been solid ATS covers all year and who return from a tough road trip. I like the Thunder to start off stronger today as I believe the Thunder will stay inside the number and even have a decent shot at winning this game outright. The Thunder are 9-1 ATS against a team with a winning road record at home (meaning they show up against the better teams in the league at home) and are 13-3 ATS following an ATS loss.
