Portland Trailblazers +5.5 (POD)
I like Portland here to potentially win this game outright, but I will gladly take the points along as well. I also liked the Magic with revenge as well today over my Hawks coming off that loss to Golden State, but the Hawks have continued to show up to play against their Eastern Conference foe. However, I'm settling on the road Blazers as they come off back to back road wins including a very nice win over the Bucks on the road which is a feat considering how hot the Bucks were at home. I nearly went with this play last night, but sat on it till' this morning to go through the card one more time and I still like the Blazers here. Look, it took a huge Cleveland come back on the road to beat this team by 1 point earlier this year and undoubtedly the Blazers remember that game. In fact, Portland was up big with just a few minutes to go before Cleveland started that typical come back of theirs. I expect Portland to be play well with revenge, they do have about a 40% chance of winning this game outright and although Cleveland is a good team, I believe Portland's defense will definitely be a benefit to them today. The Blazers have covered their last 5 road games and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 ballgames as underdogs while the Cavs are 2-10 ATS as home favorites of 5 to 10 points of late. Heck, even if the Cavs win this game, I still think Portland is likely to hang tough within the cover as well.
