NBA Points Spreads and Trends

There are six games on the NBA schedule for Sunday, and even though today's slate falls short on marquee matchups, there are several intriguing teams in action. The Knicks will try to maintain their half-game lead atop the Eastern Conference when they host the Nuggets. The Thunder (vs. Pacers) and Nets (vs. Milwaukee) also take on .500 teams as they try to further solidify their early division standing.

The lines below are from the LVH SuperBook.

NBA Trends:

* There's something about Sunday that the Raptors love. They have covered 14 of their past 17 games played on Sunday. They've also covered four of their past five against Pacific Division teams. The Clippers have covered their past four Sunday games and eight of their past 10 games coming off a win. The Clips have gone OVER the total in their last seven games. The Clippers are -11.5 with a total of 201.5.

* The Nets have gone 7-0-2 ATS in their past nine games playing on one day of rest. However, the Bucks have the Nets' number, covering their last 11 games against them. The UNDER has occurred in nine of the past 13 meetings. The Nets are -6 with a total of 195.

* The Pacers have covered their past four games coming off a loss. The Thunder have covered the number in five of their past six home games. The OVER may be the way to go when the Pacers and Thunder meet. They have gone OVER the total in 15 of their last 17 meetings. The Thunder are -10 with a total of 195.5.

* The Nuggets have covered six of their last seven games when playing with one day of rest. The Knicks have covered five of their past six Sunday games. The have played UNDER the total in their past five Sunday games. The Knicks are -5.5 with a total of 202.

* The Magic have covered four of their past five road games and they have covered four in a row against the Suns. When the Suns play a team with a losing record, they have gone OVER the total in their past five games. The Suns are -4 with a total of 196.5.

* The Lakers are 7-1 in their last eight Sunday games. The Jazz have covered only six of their past 20 meetings with the Lakers in Los Angeles. The UNDER has occurred in six of their past seven meetings. The Lakers are -6 with a total of 206.

NBA Injuries:

* Nets center Brook Lopez (foot) has missed his last three games and is OUT tonight.

* Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (finger) is probable tonight.

* Jazz forward Al Jefferson (back) is questionable tonight.

* Lakers forward Pau Gasol (knee) has missed his last three games and is doubtful tonight.
