New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors

The Raptors will host the Knicks in an Eastern Conference clash set to take place north of the border at the Air Canada Center with tip-off set for 03:00 EST. Raptors leading the league in offensive efficiency metrics at 113.5 points/game while allowing opponents 105.8 per 100 possesions. The Knicks netting 104.5 per 100 possesions giving up 107.8 in defensive metrics. With such a discrepancy in metrics the oddsmakers opened Toronto 10.0 point home favorite.

As always, a higher price on a game is cause to ratchet up tension for a sports handicapper. However, in this case supporters willing to take the plung can coun't on Raptors tapping into home court advantage. In the past 44 regular season games in front of the home audience, Purple Dinos' have won 35 contest with just 9 losses. Add the great equalizer (point spread) Raptors were 27-16-1 ATS in those games including 7-3 ATS as double digit chalk.

Additionally, Raptors do not take division games lightly bringing a high level of intensity into each contest. In seven games this season vs a division opponent the Raptors are a perfect 7-0 treating supporter's to a 6-1 record against the betting line. Going back to last season the Raptors are a sparkling 10-0 SU, 8-2 ATS overall vs the division and enter the contest on a 12-0 SU, 9-3 ATS stretch hosting an Atlantic opponent.
