Tuesday's Best NBA Bets
By Covers.com

San Antonio Spurs at Miami Heat (-7, 201)

Officially, Dwyane Wade’s status for Tuesday’s game against San Antonio was still up in the air as of Monday night. But word has it the team may sit him down for a while until his ankle is right.

"He needs to get healthy," Chris Bosh said of Wade. "That's the most important thing. He's been pushing it. He's been giving us everything he has. And unfortunately in the last game, he turned his ankle. But sometimes things happen. He probably needed to sit down and rest in the first place.”

If Wade does sit, the Heat need to buckle down at the defensive end after giving up 117 to the Nuggets in their latest loss. San Antonio isn’t having any problems with defense, allowing only 89.7 points per game over its current three game winning streak.

We doubt Wade will play and like an under play at this number. These two teams have played under in 19 of their last 22 meetings.

Pick: Under

Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers (-2, 197.5)

Not that these Cavaliers are going to make anyone forget about the LeBron James era or anything, but they’re off to a solid start for their supporters.

Kyrie Irving continues to adjust to the pro game well and put up another 25 points and seven assists in Monday’s 102-94 win over Charlotte. The Cavs scored the last nine points of the game, covering the number for the third straight contest.

"I'm not surprised that we competed every night (on the trip)," coach Byron Scott told reporters. "I told the guys that if we can come off this seven-game trip with three wins, it'd be pretty good. And we did that. And we had some other close ones, so the road trip pretty much was a success."

This is a quick turnaround for the Cavs, but they’ll be happy to be back home.

Pick: Cavaliers
