The meeting between visiting Raptors and host Spurs on AT&T Center hardwood in San Antonio buckets will come early and often. The fact Raptors have made a habit of going 'Over' the number this season (22-11) including 11-6 in unfriendly territory and the fact Spurs have kept 'Over' bettors happy overall (20-14) including a 10-5 in front of the home audence 'Over' is the best choice.

Another positive for 'Over' gamblers. This series hasn't lacked scoring as the teams have posted 8 'Over', 2 'Under' last ten meeting. Finally, 'Over' has been the right choice in Spurs last seven at home and in Raptors 9 of 11 running the hardwood against a winning team w/good offensive metrics.

Tuesday's Tip Sheet
By Kevin Rogers
VegasInsider.com

Favorites won six of eight games in the NBA on Monday night, while the two underdogs that covered in a loss were the Pelicans (at Cleveland) and the Nuggets (at Golden State). The Bulls and Magic won as slight underdogs, while the Clippers ended a six-game losing streak in a 109-98 home victory over the Suns. The UNDER hit in five of eight contests, including rather easily in Houston on a 230½ total between the Rockets and Wizards in a 101-91 win by Houston.

Game of the Night – Raptors at Spurs (-6, 210½)

It’s a battle of division leaders at the AT&T Center tonight as Toronto (23-10 SU, 21-11-1 ATS) closes out a six-game road trip. The Raptors snapped a two-game skid in Sunday’s 123-114 triumph over the Lakers to barely cash as eight-point favorites, as guards Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined to score 72 points. Lowry scored a season-high 41 points in his best shooting game of the season by hitting 12-of-16 from the floor, 6-of-7 from three-point range, and knocking down all 11 free throw attempts. Toronto improved to 8-2 in its last 10 games away from Air Canada Center and 6-4 this season on the road against Western Conference foes.

The Spurs (27-7 SU, 19-14-1 ATS) had their four-game winning streak snapped in a 114-112 overtime setback at Atlanta on Sunday. San Antonio was led by LaMarcus Aldridge’s 27 points and 13 rebounds, but the Spurs converted on 9-of-27 three-point attempts in the defeat. In spite of the loss, the Spurs own a solid 9-2 ATS mark in the last 11 games overall, while posting a 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS ledger in the past seven contests at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio has owned Toronto over the years by winning eight of the previous 10 meetings overall and 13 of the past 14 at home. The last time the Raptors won in San Antonio came back in December 2007, while Toronto covered in both meetings against San Antonio last season as an underdog.

All that Jazz

Utah continues to stay hot after picking up its fourth consecutive victory on Monday at Brooklyn. The Jazz are cleaning up against teams that won’t be heading to the playoffs by beating the Nets, Suns, Lakers, and 76ers in the last four games, but they remain atop the Northwest division at 22-13. Utah heads to Boston this evening as the Jazz have dropped eight consecutive visits to TD Garden, while scoring less than 95 points in each of those losses.

Boston has been off since Friday night’s 117-114 victory over Miami as guard Isaiah Thomas blew up for 52 points, including 29 points in the fourth quarter. The Celtics have turned into scoring machines of late by posting 112 points or more in five consecutive games, while sailing OVER the total in seven straight contests. Boston has slumped to a 2-4 ATS mark in its past opportunities as a home favorite, while owning a 2-5 ATS record at home against Western Conference opponents.

Texas Travels

The Wizards continue their trip through the Lone Star State in Dallas following last night’s 101-91 setback against the Rockets as 7½-point underdogs. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak, while Washington squandered a 15-point lead after the first quarter to not even pick up the cover in the loss. Since December 8, the Wizards have put together a solid 10-3 ATS mark the last 13 games, including a 4-1 ATS mark in the favorite role.

The Mavericks have played better of late by splitting their last eight games following a 6-20 start, as Dallas begins a three-game homestand. Dallas played six of its previous seven contests on the highway, as the Mavs covered as 17½-point underdogs in a 108-99 loss at Golden State on Saturday. This series has been owned by the Mavericks, who have won nine of the previous 10 meetings with the Wizards, although Washington’s only win came in the last matchup in December 2015 in Texas.

(Trying to) Set The Pace

Indiana is coming off a pair of victories over Chicago and Orlando at home as the Pacers are within one game of the .500 mark. However, the Pacers have stumbled on the road recently by losing six of the last seven games away from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The only team Indiana beat during this stretch is Detroit, who of course the Pacers are playing tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills. In a 105-90 rout on December 17, the Pacers held the Pistons to 38% shooting from the floor, while outrebounding Detroit, 51-40.

The Pistons won for just the second time in the last nine games in Sunday’s 107-98 comeback victory at shorthanded Miami. Detroit limited Miami to 32 second half points, while the backcourt duo of Reggie Jackson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope combined to score 50 points. The Pistons have lost five of their past six games at the Palace of Auburn Hills, while dropping six of the previous seven matchups with the Pacers since February 2015.

Head-to-Head Trends

The Wolves dominated the 76ers in the first matchup this season in Minnesota, 110-86 as 11½-point favorites. The two teams meet tonight in Philadelphia as the 76ers have won the past two home meetings, including a 109-99 triumph last season.

Sacramento and Denver are meeting for the first time this season as the Kings captured all three matchups last season. Each of the past seven games between these teams have sailed OVER the total, including each of the past four in Denver.

Both the Heat and Suns own dreadful 10-25 records as they hook up tonight in Phoenix. Miami has owned this series by winning 12 straight matchups since 2007, while covering 11 times. The Heat have won eight consecutive times in Phoenix, while holding the Suns to less than 100 points in each of the past five trips to the Valley.

The Grizzlies held off the Lakers in their first meeting this season, 103-100 in Memphis. The two teams battle in Los Angeles tonight as Memphis has won nine of the previous 10 matchups with the Lakers. Los Angeles has lost four of the past five meetings at Staples Center, but the Lakers have covered three times as an underdog.
