Mavericks at Spurs

Dallas: 19-15 SU, 18-16 ATS
San Antonio: 26-8 SU, 18-16 ATS

Both the Spurs and Mavericks enter Wednesday's action with no rest as the two Lone Star State rivals meet for the second time this season. San Antonio defeated Dallas at the American Airlines Center the day after Christmas, 116-107 to cash as 2½-point favorites for its sixth straight win in the series, including three consecutive victories in Dallas. The Spurs took three of four on their recent homestand, while scoring at least 101 points in each of those contests ('over' 3-0-1).

The Mavericks have played extremely well on the highway of late, winning four straight games, including a perfect 3-0 trip at Chicago, Minnesota, and Washington. Rick Carlisle's club owns a sterling 8-1 ATS record the last nine opportunities in the road underdog role, while going 4-1 ATS the past five on the highway with no rest. The defense has stepped up of late for Dallas, allowing 98 points or less in four of the last five games, while cashing the 'under' four times in this stretch.

Pistons at Raptors

Detroit: 14-20 SU, 14-19-1 ATS
Toronto: 16-16 SU, 18-14 ATS

The Raptors are the only team in the Atlantic Division currently sitting at .500, as Toronto has won seven of its past nine games. Dwane Casey's team saw its five-game winning streak snapped in Sunday's 102-97 defeat at Miami on Sunday, but the Raptors covered their sixth straight game as 6½-point underdogs. Toronto is playing just its fourth home contest since December 14, as the Raptors have captured three of its past four games at the Air Canada Center.

The Pistons are unraveling before our eyes by dropping four in a row, while giving up at least 106 points in defeats to the Wizards twice, Magic, and Grizzlies. Detroit has found a way to win as heavy road underdogs at Miami and Indiana, but five of its last seven losses have come by double-digits. The 'over' is currently on a 12-2 run the past 14 trips to the court for the Pistons, but Maurice Cheeks' squad has drilled the 'under' in each of the last two road contests. Detroit and Toronto split four games last season with each team winning on its home court once and winning on the road once.

Pacers at Hawks

Indiana: 27-6 SU, 23-10 ATS
Atlanta: 18-17 SU, 19-16 ATS

These two teams are meeting up for the first time their six-game series in last season's opening round of the playoffs. Indiana won three games at home in the series, while going 1-2 at Philips Arena, including the series-clincher victory in Game 6 in Atlanta, 81-73. The Pacers play on the second of a back-to-back after Tuesday's home contest against Toronto, as Indiana is 2-4 SU/ATS the last six road games with no rest this season. The defensive-minded Pacers are riding a 7-1 stretch to the 'under,' including three straight 'unders' on the highway.

The Hawks look to snap a three-game skid following Monday's 91-86 setback at Brooklyn. Atlanta has dropped four of six contests since Al Horford suffered a season-ending pectoral injury, while going 'under' the total in four straight games. However, the Hawks own a 7-2 mark to the 'over' in the last nine games at Philips Arena, including last Friday's one-point setback to Golden State. Since late November, Atlanta has won eight of its past 10 home contests, while going 3-1 ATS this season as a home 'dog.

Suns at Wolves

Phoenix: 20-12 SU, 23-8-1 ATS
Minnesota: 17-17 SU, 19-15 ATS

The Suns continue their road trip through the frigid Midwest, as Phoenix is 15-3 ATS as an underdog this season. Jeff Hornacek's club plays with no rest after Tuesday's contest against short-handed Chicago, as the Suns have won each of their last three games on the second of a back-to-back. Eric Bledsoe continues to be out of the Phoenix lineup with a knee injury as the Suns have split eight games this season without the guard.

The Wolves have been up and down as of late, alternating wins and losses in each of their five games, coming off a 126-95 rout of the Sixers on Monday. Minnesota has won and covered four straight contests as a favorite of at least five points, while Rick Adelman's team has scored at least 117 points in each of their last five victories. Last season, the Wolves took three of four meetings from the Suns, including a pair of wins at the Target Center.

Detroit Pistons at Toronto Raptors

Pistons with one of the leagues worst defending keep getting pummel leading to a slew of 'Over' which stands at 25-10. Pistons off a date with Knicks Tuesday night there's an 'Over-Whelming' number of betting trends favoring 'Over' when the team heads into Toronto Wednesday. Pistons are 7-2 O/U without rest this season. The 'Over' has cashed in 13-of-16 meetings north of the border, the Raptors are 10-3 O/U vs a poor defense teams (=>99 PPG) and hit the hardwood 5-1 O/U last six at the Air Canada Center.

Dallas Mavericks at San Antonio Spurs

San Antonio looks to continue their dominance over state rival Dallas. Spurs knocking off Mavericks 116-107 as 2.5 point road favorites when the two collided back on December 26th have now won six consecutive in the series cashing 5-of-6 tickets. Going back to the 2011 campaign Spurs have won 7-of-9 encounters winning by an average 12.2 points/game with a profitable 7-2 mark at the betting window. Plenty of reason to consider Spurs as 'Home Cookin' has been good for San Antonio (13-5 SU). However, too much desert with 'Home Cookin' has made Spurs sluggish covering the great equalizer as they're 7-11 ATS on home court. Mavericks like all other visitors will find it tough to topple Spurs at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. But Mavericks can give San Antonio a run for the money. Dallas has been a solid bet away from home going 11-6 ATS including 8-4 dressed as an underdog. Mavericks are also 4-1 ATS without rest vs the division including 3-0 ATS as a road underdog. One final betting nugget. Mavericks have a 7-2 ATS stretch as road underdog vs a team averaging 100 or more points/game.
