SALT LAKE CITY, UT (ATS Consultants) – The Jazz are looking to stay above .500 on Saturday night when they host the Grizzlies at 10PM ET at EnergySolutions Arena.

LINE MOVEMENT: Some sportsbooks opened this game as a pick ’em. However, the spread quickly turned toward the Jazz, starting at -1 and climbing to -2.5 before closing at Utah -2 points. The over/under total opened at 185 points, which was its peak. Most sportsbooks have had the total drop down to 183.5 points.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Memphis. According to the latest NBA trends, Memphis is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss, 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games, 6-1 ATS last 7 following a SU loss, 4-1 ATS last 5 overall and 7-3 ATS last 10 Saturday games. Utah is 0-4 ATS last 4 Saturday games, 1-4 ATS last 5 with a winning SU record.

In the last meeting (12/15/12), Memphis (+2) over UTAH, 99-86. The Grizzlies are on a major roll despite falling at Denver on Friday night, 87-80, getting 5.5. They still have won 14 of the last 16 games and have been one of the best teams in the league after trading Rudy Gay. Utah is coming off a 110-87 loss at Oklahoma City on Wednesday, getting 13.5. They won their last two home games against Detroit and Charlotte, but lost five of seven. Memphis was led by Zach Randolph, who scored 18 points and grabbed 18 rebounds against Denver as the Grizzlies struggled to shoot just 35.3 percent. Since returning from an ankle injury, Randolph is averaging 16.7 points and 12 rebounds. He's also averaging 20.5 points and 17 rebounds in two games this year against an underachieving Utah frontcourt. Memphis is battling Denver and the Clippers for the third seed. Randolph and Marc Gasol will be too much for Utah's frontcourt.
