NBA Heat vs. Kings Picks & Predictions for Saturday, January 12, 2013
By ATSSportsline.com

SACRAMENTO, CA (ATS Consultants) – The Heat continue their six-game road trip today when they visit the Kings at 10:00PM ET tonight. Will Miami dominate Sacramento again?

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Heat as 7-point favorites versus the Kings, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 201.5 points. Miami is 23-11 overall and Sacramento is 13-23 overall.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Heat opened as 7.5-point favorites but the line has been bet down to 7, while the total opened at 203 and is now down to 201.5.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 93% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Heat. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Miami. According to latest NBA trends, Heat are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Saturday games, 19-9 ATS in their last 28 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game, 7-1 ATS last 8 in Sacramento and are 19-3 ATS last 22 meetings. Sacramento is 10-21-1 ATS in their last 32 games following a S.U. loss, 13-30 ATS in their last 43 vs. NBA Southeast, 2-7 ATS in their last 9 Saturday games and are 6-21-1 ATS in their last 28 games following an ATS loss.

Miami (23-11 SU, 16-18 ATS, 15-19 O/U) has simply dominated the Kings over the years. It will only get worse for Sacramento (13-23 SU, 16-19-1 ATS, 23-13 O/U), who may end up in Seattle next year after the club was sold to a Seattle businessman. The Heat have struggled on the road, losing to an underrated Indiana team, 87-77 on Tuesday and to a sizzling Portland squad, 92-90, giving 3.5 on Thursday. Miami tends to cruise at times, but they don't want to lose four of five and start losing traction in the Eastern Conference. Miami averages 101.8ppg and allows 97.2ppg. Sacramento averages 96.9ppg, but their big problem is defense as they allow 102.5ppg. The Kings have lost three straight including an overtime defeat at home to Dallas, 117-112 as a 2.5-point favorite. They may also not have DeMarcus Cousins (possible suspension) but it won't matter. Miami will run right around this team like they are standing still. The Heat travels to Sleep Train Arena to take on the Kings at 10pmET in Sacramento.

2013 NBA FREE PICK: MIAMI HEAT -7.5
