BROOKLYN, NY (ATS Consultants) – The Heat will look to improve their road play when they visit the Nets tonight at 8:00PM ET. Will Miami cover the small spread?

NBA FREE PICK: Take Miami. According to latest NBA trends, Heat are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Brooklyn and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. Brooklyn is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Wednesday games and is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

Miami is coming off a 100-98 double-overtime loss in Boston that dropped the Heat to 10-10 on the road. The Nets halted a two-game skid with a 97-77 win over Orlando on Monday. Brooklyn has dropped 12 consecutive games against Miami and has been outscored by 43 points in the first two meetings this season. Miami needs to get Chris Bosh, who is shooting 54% from the field, more involved. He too just three shots in their loss to Boston. Bosh averages 12.2 shot attempts per game, well back of James (18.8) and Wade (15.3). Brooklyn doesn't match up with the Heat's quickness. Miami wins this one easily.

2013 NBA FREE PICK: MIAMI HEAT -2.5
