NBA Indiana vs. Miami Picks & Predictions for Sunday, March 10, 2013
By ATSSportsline.com

MIAMI, FL (ATS Consultants) – The Heat will put their franchise-record 17-game winning streak on the line tonight at American Airlines Arena when they host the Pacers at 6:00PM ET.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Heat as 6.5-point favorites over the Pacers, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 190 points. Indiana enters play with a 39-23 overall record, while Miami is 46-14 on the year.

LINE MOVEMENT: Miami opened as a 6-point favorite but the spread has been bet up to 6.5 at most online sports books. The total, meanwhile, opened at 191 but has been bet down to 190 or 189.5 depending on what book you view.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 55% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Pacers. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Indiana. According to latest NBA trends, Indiana is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games, 9-1 ATS in their last 10 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game, 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS win, 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Miami is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Central and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games.

Indiana (39-23 SU, 35-27 ATS, 26-35-1 O/U) has won three of the last four games including an easy 115-86 win over Orlando on Friday, laying 9 on the road. Miami (46-14 SU, 31-29 ATS, 30-29-1 O/U) has won 17 straight games and the last time they lost was on February 1 against the Pacers. Indiana has won all two meetings this season with the Heat. They are a difficult team to play for the Heat because they have a lot of size led by 7-foot-2 Roy Hibbert and 6-foot-9 David West, who had 30 points in their last meeting. Paul George, who can play small forward or shooting guard at 6-foot-10, can also give LeBron James issues with his length. The streak will be in danger but even if it continues, Indiana covers.
