NBA FREE PICK: Take Dallas. According to latest NBA trends, Dallas is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games, 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games, 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games overall, 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games playing on 1 days rest, 14-5 ATS in their last 19 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and Underdog is 17-4 ATS in the last 21 meetings. Milwaukee is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, 2-9 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Southwest, 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest.
Don't look now but Dallas (29-33 SU, 36-26 ATS, 36-25-1 O/U) is making a last-second push for the playoffs. The Mavericks are tied for 10th in the Western Conference, three games behind the Los Angeles Lakers in eighth. Dallas has won three straight including a 100-77 win over Minnesota on Sunday giving 7 on the road. Milwaukee (32-29 SU, 30-31 ATS, 29-30-2) has won two straight and four of the last five. They are coming off a 115-113 win over Sacramento on the road on Sunday, 115-113, getting one. They did beat Dallas on Feb. 26 despite the fact that Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points and 20 rebounds for the Mavericks. Nowitzki has shot 51.2 percent from the floor in the last three games and Vince Carter has made 9-of-13 three-pointers in his last three games. Milwaukee may have to go small if forwards Ersan Ilyasova (left knee), Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (left foot) and Larry Sanders (left knee) can't go. Their bench could be very slim if J.J. Redick (ankle) can't go as he missed their last game on Sunday against Milwaukee. Dallas is healthier and playing with a sense of urgency.
