INDIANCOWBOY RESEARCH REPORT

Milwaukee vs. New York

Seems the public are loving the Knicks all of a sudden now and showing their love to them. The line for this game opened up at -4.5 and quickly moved up to -5.5. Over 56% of the public are riding the Knicks as well. Having said this, I don't want to completely jump on the Knicks here as they are still yet a public team, but do come off a tough road loss which makes them appealing. But, in Sunday basketball, with just two games on tap, usually the public favorite gets buried or is in trouble. I also think the -5.5 line is one of the worst in sports and favors the dog. Remember, Milwaukee has looked good so far this year barely losing to Toronto at home and I can see them hanging tough here. Small leans on Milwaukee and the over.

Minny vs. Oklahoma City

I'm still irritated at the Timberwolves for not covering against the Kings in their home opener, but here they are hitting the road against the once Sonics. The line here opened up at -2 and has remained there, but more importantly, the total opened up at 198 and went down significantly to 191 - talk about a dive. This makes sense in many ways as neither team has put up significant amount of points and I can easily see this game going under as all four games that these two teams have played each other have all gone significantly under. Hence, I wouldn't be surprised if this dipped under as well.
