NBA Nuggets vs. Thunder Picks & Predictions for March 19, 2013
By ATSSportsline.com

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (ATS Consultants) – Even though the Nuggets have an opportunity to notch a franchise-record 13th consecutive victory, they’re big road underdogs versus the Thunder tonight at 8:00PM ET.

Last game: (3/1/13) DENVER (+1.5) over Oklahoma City, 105-103. Denver (46-22 SU, 42-25-1 ATS, 40-28 O/U) has won 12 straight and is coming off a 119-118 overtime win over Chicago on the road on Monday, giving 3.5. Oklahoma City (50-17 SU, 40-25-2 ATS, 34 32-1 O/U) defeated Dallas on the road on Sunday, 107-101 giving. The Nuggets visit Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8pmET.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Thunder as 9.5-point favorites versus the Nuggets, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 216 points. Denver is 46-22 overall on the year while Oklahoma City is 50-17.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Thunder opened as 8.5-point favorites but the spread has been bet up to 9.5 at most sports books, while the total has gone from 215.5 up to 216. Some books still list the over/under at 215.5, however.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 60% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Nuggets. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Denver. According to latest NBA trends, Denver is 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 games following a S.U. win, 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall, 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Tuesday games, 37-13-1 ATS in their last 51 vs. Western Conference, 28 10 ATS in their last 38 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game, 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games playing on 0 days rest, 5-2-1 ATS last 8 in series and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS loss. Oklahoma City is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.

The Denver Nuggets are looking to set the club record of 13 straight wins. They already matched the mark on Monday night with a win over Chicago. They'll have a tough task against an Oklahoma City that is 30-4 SU at home. Denver has not only won 12 straight but they had covered eight straight until Monday's straight up win. Denver has a chance here due to their bench, which is one of the strongest in the NBA. On Monday, it was backup forward Wilson Chandler, who scored 35 points against the Bulls. Denver has covered three of the last four in this series and they don't mind playing the up-tempo game that the Thunder thrive on. Expect a tight game and cover for the Nuggets.
