Los Angeles is 38-17 on the season and 19-9 on the road. The Lakers have won 6 of their last 10 games. Charlotte is 23-31 on the season and 13-14 at home. The Bobcats have lost 6 of their last 10 games.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have released their odds for this game and they have made the Lakers a 5-point favorite at Charlotte. The over/under total has been set at 188 points. Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s game:

The Lakers are just 1-10 against the spread in their last 11 meetings with the Bobcats and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 in Charlotte, but the Bobcats are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. My pick is with the Lakers as they got somewhat embarrassed on Sunday and will be looking to make a statement against a poor Bobcats team. The spread isn’t too great, so I like the Lake show on Monday.
