NBA Picks & Predictions for Saturday, December 18, 2010
By Drew Sharper

Bet on NBA

MILWAUKEE, WI (TheSpread) – The Milwaukee Bucks look to start a winning streak on Saturday in the NBA when they host the Utah Jazz at 8:30PM ET. Here is a breakdown of my pick for the game.

Milwaukee is 10-14 on the season and 7-5 at home. The Bucks have won just 5 of their last 10 games. Utah is 18-9 on the year and 7-4 on the road. The Jazz have won 6 of their last 10.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have released their odds for this game and they have made the Bucks a 2-point favorite at home on Saturday. The over/under total has been set at 189 points. Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s game:

Utah Jazz vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 8:30PM ET

The Jazz are 14-3 against the spread in their last 17 meetings with the Bucks and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog. Milwaukee is just 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss. My pick is with Utah with the points on the road as they are simply the better team and Milwaukee is not strong enough at home to be overwhelmed by the home-court edge.

NBA FREE PICK: UTAH JAZZ +2

I gotta tell ya, I watch this site religously and this is the worst day of professional picks on college basketball that I have ever seen. 90% of the the picks were losers for Sarurday. I"m glad I did't pay may hard earned money for these picks. It pisses me off that I look for pro help and they fail so bad. 1500 dimes, 25 dimes and no matter how you dime it, it lost! Blade does a great job posting them but the site should list the best handicapers to the worst so the public knows who is good or bad! Jesus, Baylor, Witchita St. and Pacific were locks by everyone but they lost outright, terrible picks, just terrible, UTEP and Fresno St. in football, horrible picks! Just pathetic if you posted a pick, pathetic!

Yesterday was a burial for people that follow cappers and thats why I tend to fade them when I see them all on one side/side like yesterday with the games you mentioned. Tough to list the good ones and bad ones since it takes a lot of work to track them on a daily basis. I Just follow a few and watch for streaks and follow or fade them when they are hot or cold.

The author of this article doesn't claim to be a capper he works for the site writing articles for the site so don't be to tough on Drew.

I appreciate what you do Blade, I'm not taking it out on anybody just venting, this is probably the most informative site that I've seen. I laugh now because I was pissed at all the bad choices I made, it was my fault but you would think if the pro's are pro's they should have a better hold on what they are selling. Fading all the majority would be the logical thing to do after looking back, thanks for the response and I'll take your advise from now on.

Hopefully you saw every capper on the Seahawks yesterday and took the Falcons, what they saw in the Seahawks I'll never figure out.
