NBA Picks & Predictions for Sunday, October 31
By Drew Sharper
The Utah Jazz is seeking its first win of the 2010-11 NBA Season on Sunday, but to get it, the Jazz have to get past Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder are 2-0 on the season and 1-0 at home while the Jazz are 0-2 on the season and 0-1 on the road. The Thunder have won three of the last four meetings with the Jazz at home.
Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s game:
Utah Jazz vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 7PM ET
Trends favor Oklahoma City as the Jazz are 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 games with the Thunder/Sonics. Oklahoma City is also 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 43-18 ATS in their last 61 contests after a failed cover.
Utah is just 0-5 ATS in their last five overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four games after a straight up loss.
