NBA Picks & Predictions for Thursday, November 18, 2010

The Northwest Division of the NBA is stacked and two teams in that division meet on Thursday night as the Portland Trail Blazers host the Denver Nuggets at 10:30PM ET.
Portland is 7-5 on the season and trails Utah by a game in the division. The Blazers are 3-1 at home this season. Denver is 1.5 games back of Utah as they are 6-5 on the season. The Nuggets are 2-4 on the season on the road.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook BroburySports.com have made the Blazers a 2.5-point favorite at home against the Nuggets. The over/under has been set at 203. Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s game:
Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 10:30PM ET
The home team is 7-1 against the spread in the last eight games in this series, as is the favorite. The Nuggets are 3-12-2 against the spread in their last 17 road games. The under has hit in five of the last seven games of the series.
