The Houston Rockets and New Orleans Hornets each look to establish themselves as a power in the Western Conference when the two meet on Wednesday night.
The Houston Rockets are off to a surprising 0-3 start having lost their lone game at home while the Hornets are off to a 3-0 start, having won two games on the road. The Rockets have won three of the last four games in Houston against the Hornets.
Here are some trends to consider and my pick for tonight’s game:
New Orleans Hornets at Houston Rockers, 8:30PM ET
The home team is 8-2 against the spread in the last 10 meetings in this series while the Hornets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games in Houston.
The Hornets are also 2-6 ATS in their last eight games when playing on three days of rest or more and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games on Wednesday.
