Nah man, 6 inches, shoveled twice and it's all done. It really doesn't snow here anymore. I think Al Gore is onto something with global warming.

My daughter is having surgery on Wednesday morning so I spent most of the day changing out the shower head to a hose so she can take a shower and assembling a $1500 wheelchair that she's gonna need for a few months and making some meals we can eat over the next couple days so we don't have to go out and pick shit up.

I'm form Tennessee but i despise Al Gore. You may be right about the global warming. I had ex in-laws in Monroe Mich. and toke a road trip to visit a few years back. We arrived and it was a beautiful day and woke up the next morning and the fucking snow was up to the window sill. GRRR I hate cold weather.

Mike, I pray your daughter has a speedy recovery!

Thanks, Bama I appreciate it. I'm sure she'll be fine, they turn these operations out like french fries but this girl is all drama dude and you can bet your ass that these next 7 days are gonna be harder on her mom and I then her.

Monroe is about 25 minutes south of me by the Ohio border so by default they have a little warmer weather then we do but these last 3 years weather has been like I've never seen it. It never got really really hot in the summer like it normally does and the winters are milder then I can ever remember. Hardly any snow, temps in the 50's more than in the teens and multiple days of 20-30+ above average temps. Unless the next 15 years is gonna be brutal I am inclined to believe the climate of the planet is definitely warming up.

good luck with ur daughter, if u need any advice on any other area's dealing with handicapp access, that's something else we do and have been since 1980, i do the assessments at the homes for patients that r being released, dealing with minor to major operations, alzheimer patients everything, you may want to add some grab bars, and a shower chair also, the hand held if you can get a 6 ' length hose, is ideal, we have performed numerous construction projects, in homes to help people adjust, i got nothing but time now while getting myself back up to snuff, be glad to assist with info

Thanks but with any luck she'll only be off her feet for a week or so and then right onto crutches. She has her own bathroom and we got a shower chair also so she won't have to move much while in the house. Definitely don't need to turn this place into a hospice for a torn ACL. lol. She only weighs about 90 pounds too so I can just throw her in the car and throw her into her wheel chair when we head back to the doc and to physical therapy.
