LOS ANGELES, CA (ATS Consultants) – One of the best battles tonight in the NBA pits the Spurs and the Lakers against each other at 9:30PM ET. Will it be a low-scoring affair?

San Antonio enters play with a 58-21 overall record and is 23-16 on the road, while Los Angeles is 43-37 overall and 27-12 at home.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Spurs opened as 4-point favorites but depending on what sports book you view, they’re now either a 4.5 or 5-point favorite. As for the total, it opened at 196 and remains at that number or has been bet down to 195.5.

But expect those numbers to change until their season ends-which will be shortly. Kobe Bryant will miss the next six-to-nine months after rupturing his Achilles tendon on Friday against Golden State. He averages 27.3 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists. Bryant had scored 111 points in his last three games including 34 in 45 minutes on Friday. That's a huge loss to the offense and they have nobody remotely who can replace him. Without Bryant, the Lakers are either going to have to start Metta World Peace (12.5 points, 40.5 field goal percentage) at shooting guard or Jodie Meeks(7.9 points, 39 percent field goal).. Coach Mike D'Antoni is going to have to think out of the box in this one and that's rely on his frontcourt and slow the game down, which is not always his style. The Spurs visit the Staples Center to take on the Lakers at 9:30pmET on Sunday night.
