The Grizzlies have now won 15 of 18 games and are locked in a tight battle with the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers for the third spot in the West. Oklahoma City is 1 1/2 games behind the San Antonio Spurs in the competition for the top seed but a loss at home to Denver, who was playing the night before, hurts. Now the Thunder have no rest and they are playing a Memphis team that is 26-8 SU at home this year. Memphis does something that Oklahoma City doesn't do on a consistent basis and that's play defense. Point guard Mike Conley had two steals and now has the franchise record. Zach Randolph posted his 38th double-double against Minnesota and is averaging 15 rebounds in two games against Oklahoma City this season. He's a beast against a lankier Serge Ibaka, who suffered a cut under the eye last night against Denver.
