NBA Thunder vs. Rockets Picks & Predictions for February 20, 2013
By ATSSportsline.com

HOUSTON, TX (ATS Consultants) – James Harden will clash with his former team when the Thunder visit the Rockets tonight at 8:00PM ET in the Toyota Center.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Thunder are 3-point favorites versus the Rockets, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 219 points. Oklahoma City is 39-14 overall while Houston is 29-26 overall.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Thunder opened as 3.5-point favorites but the spread has been bet down to 3 at most online sports books. The total, meanwhile, opened at 218 but has been bet up to 219 or 219.5 depending on the sports book.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 87% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Thunder. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Oklahoma City. According to latest NBA trends, Oklahoma City Thunder are 4 0 ATS in their last 4 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game, 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 3 or more days rest, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference, 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games following a double-digit loss at home and 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 vs. NBA Southwest. Houston is 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 vs. NBA Northwest.

The Thunder(39-14 SU, 31-20-2 ATS, 28-25 O/U) are looking to bounce back from a disappointing two-game losing streak to Miami and Utah right before the All-Star break. Houston (29-26 SU, 30-24-1 ATS, 31-24 O/U) has lost two of their last three right before the break including a 106-96 defeat at the LA Clippers, getting 10.5 last Wednesday. This game re-unites the Thunder with James Harden, although the first two games in this series have gone the Thunder's way. Harden also didn't play well in both losses as Oklahoma City won by 30 and 22 points respectively. Harden shot 3 for 16 in a 120-98 loss on Nov. 28 and had 17 points. Harden scored 25 in the rematch but was 6 of 17 from the field in a 124-94 home loss Dec. 29. The Thunder shot a combined 50.8 percent in those games while limiting the Rockets to 40.6. Poor defense has haunted Houston all year long, especially in their last six games before the break as they allowed an average of 109.3 points per game.

2013 NBA FREE PICK: OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER -3
