NBA FREE PICK: Take Oklahoma City. According to latest NBA trends, Oklahoma City is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, 23-9-1 ATS in their last 33 vs. NBA Pacific and 19-9-1 ATS in their last 29 Thursday games. Golden State is 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games playing on 1 days rest, 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games following a S.U. win.

Oklahoma City (57-21 SU, 47-29-2 ATS, 36-40-2 O/U) is coming off a 90-80 win over Utah on the road on Tuesday. Golden State (45-33 SU, 39-38-1 ATS, 44-33-1 O/U) defeated Minnesota at home on Tuesday, 105-89, giving 7. The Thunder are playing for first place in the Western Conference. They even helped out Golden State when they beat Utah on Tuesday, to help the Warriors clinch their first playoff berth in six seasons. But now the Thunder are looking to beat the Warriors for the seventh time out of the last eight matchup. Once again, defense is leading the way with the Thunder, who have held six of its last nine opponents to fewer than 90 points and ranks second in the NBA in field-goal percentage defense at 42.5. They still can score, averaging 105.8 points per game, while Golden State allows 99.9 points. The Thunder's one lone poor performance in their last five took place at home against the red-hot Knicks, who put up 125 in a five-point upset win. Also fueling their solid play as been point guard Russell Westbrook, who has averaged 28.3 points in four games this month and committed one turnover for the second straight contest. Westbrook is just too big and athletic for most point guards to defend. He has averaged just over 20 points per game in their three games this year, while holding his counterpart Stephen Curry to 14 points in their last meeting. Expect the Thunder to continue their solid defensive play on the road, covering over the Warriors. Oklahoma City visits Oracle Arena in Oakland on Thursday night to face the Warriors at 10:30pmET.
