Indiana at Boston (7 p.m. EDT). The Pacers are three games behind Atlanta for the eighth playoff spot in the East with eight games to play.

STARS

- Michael Redd, Bucks, finished with 36 points in Milwaukee's 119-115 overtime win over New York.

-Allen Iverson, Nuggets, scored 31 points to lead Denver to a 126-120 win over Phoenix

- Ron Artest and Kevin Martin, Kings. Artest scored 30 points and Martin added 27 to help Sacramento beat Houston 99-98.

STREAKING

The Spurs beat Golden State 116-92 on Tuesday night for their eighth straight win. The Warriors dropped their 20th straight in San Antonio since the Spurs drafted Tim Duncan in 1997.

PLAYOFF PUSH

Philadelphia posted its 20th win in 27 games with a 108-99 victory over the fading New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night. The 76ers (38-37) snapped a two-game losing streak and pulled within a half game of idle Washington and Toronto in the three-way fight for playoff positions 5-7 in the Eastern Conference.

OFF THE BENCH

With stars Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace and Richard Hamilton sitting this one out to rest up for the playoffs, rookie Rodney Stuckey scored a career-high 27 points to help Detroit overcome a 21-point deficit and beat Minnesota 94-90 on Tuesday night.

ROAD WARRIORS

Peja Stojakovic scored six points in the final minute - a clutch 3-pointer and three free throws - to lift New Orleans past the Orlando Magic 98-97, giving the Hornets their franchise-record 24th road win.

STRONG IN DEFEAT

Tracy McGrady scored 32 points to lead Houston, but the Rockets lost to Sacramento 99-98 on Tuesday night.

SPEAKING

``It's not like we won last year. We're all pretty much new to the situation.'' - Ray Allen, who insists Boston is not the favorites in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics beat Chicago 106-92 Tuesday night, closing in on the top spot in the East.
