Denver at Phoenix (10 p.m. EDT). The Nuggets, in contention for a playoff berth in the Western Conference, have won five straight games.

STARS

-Chris Paul, Hornets, had 20 points and 16 assists to lead New Orleans to a 118-111 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

-LeBron James, Cavaliers, made a twisting bank shot with 19.3 seconds left to help Cleveland to a 91-88 win over the Sixers.

LOGJAM

Monta Ellis scored 30 points to help the Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 114-104 Sunday night to create a three-way tie for seventh place in the Western Conference. With nine games remaining, Dallas, Golden State and Denver are all even at 45-28.

STREAKING

Michael Finley scored 22 points and the Spurs picked up their seventh straight win with an easy 109-88 victory over the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

FUTILITY

The Boston Celtics held the Miami Heat to an NBA-record-low 17 field goals, coasting to an 88-62 victory Sunday. The previous record for fewest field goals in a game came against Miami in April 1999, when Chicago managed only 18.

MILESTONE

David West scored 32 points and Chris Paul had 20 points and 16 assists to lead the New Orleans Hornets to a 118-111 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night. The Hornets reached 50 wins for the first time since the 1997-98 season.

TRIPLE-DOUBLE

Washington's Caron Butler had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in a 126-120 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.

STRONG IN DEFEAT

Jamal Crawford scored 39 points with eight assists in the Knicks' 114-109 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. ... Josh Howard scored 36 points in the Mavericks' 114-104 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Magic F Brian Cook out 10-14 days with finger fracture

ORLANDO, Fla.(AP) Orlando Magic forward Brian Cook could miss up to two weeks because he broke his right middle finger in practice.

The Magic said Monday that Cook would rest 10 to 14 days, then be re-evaluated. The Magic's season ends with three games from April 13-16. They have eight games remaining.

Cook joined Orlando in a November trade with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is averaging four points and two rebounds.
