Wizards forward Oleksiy Pecherov out 6 weeks with broken right ankle

WASHINGTON -- Washington Wizards forward Oleksiy Pecherov will be sidelined six weeks because of a broken right ankle.
Pecherov was injured last weekend when the team originally said he was expected to miss one or two weeks, but the prognosis was changed Friday.
The 7-footer was a 2006 first-round draft pick who played in his native Ukraine last season. He averaged eight points and five rebounds this preseason.
The Wizards lost 94-82 on Saturday night against the Magic.
Cavs' Marshall to miss Phoenix game

CLEVELAND -- Cavaliers forward Donyell Marshall will miss Sunday's game against the Phoenix Suns because of a sprained right wrist.
Marshall is listed as day-to-day as Cleveland begins a six-game road trip, the team said Saturday. He averaged 2.5 points in the first two games.
Cavaliers guard Eric Snow has been out since the preseason with a sprained knee. Marshall and Snow will travel with the team during the road trip.
Rivers to miss game versus Raptors

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Boston Celtics head coach Glenn "Doc" Rivers will not be on the sidelines when the team visits the Toronto Raptors Sunday due to the death of his father.
The Celtics, who are coming off a 103-83 season opening win over the Washington Wizards on Friday, will be coached by assistant Tom Thibodeau.
