Tips and Trends

Cleveland Cavaliers at Philadelphia 76ers

Cavs (no line, O/U no line): The Cavs are coming off a 100-95 loss to the Bulls who went on a dunk-a-thon in the decisive third quarter. Coach Mike Brown was furious with his big men, who allowed the Bulls to dominate inside: ?Our help defense was awful.? Cleveland enters this contest loser of 3 of 4 while allowing 100+ points in each of those losses. However, LeBron James led the team with 26 points in a 91-88 victory over the 76ers in the last meeting.

Cavs are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

Key Injuries - NONE

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD

76ers: Some of the 76er players wouldn?t mind having their minutes reduced in the final two games of the regular season, and seem to playing like it on the court. Philadelphia turned it on over the last couple months to get themselves into the playoffs, but is now just 3-3 in the month of April. The 76ers have dropped their last 2 contests by an average of 13 points, while scoring just 76 points against the Pacers in their last home game.

76ers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. the Central.

Key Injuries - NONE

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD

Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz

Rockets: The Rockets had nine days with five games and two practices to sharpen their offense, but now must play the second of a back-to-back after playing in the high altitude of Denver just last night. Houston has a strong hold on the No. 5 seed in the West, and is one of the few to actually defeat the Jazz in Utah. In that only meeting between these two teams in Salt Lake the Rockets defeated the Jazz 106-95 with Tracy McGrady lighting it up for 47-points. McGrady said he felt great that night and he has been the scoring leader without Yao Ming in the lineup.

Rockets are 16-6 ATS in their last 22 road games.

Key Injuries - F Shane Battier (9 ppg; foot) is questionable

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD

Jazz (-8.5, O/U 191.5): The Jazz kept alive their hopes of securing home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs by defeating the Nuggets 124-97 Saturday night. Eleven players scored for the Jazz, who shot 58 percent as a team. Utah has lost just once in their last 27 contests at EnergySolutions Arena, while averaging 109 points per game. The Jazz defeated the Rockets 97-89 in the previous meeting in Houston.

Jazz are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. the Southwest.

Key Injuries - NONE

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD

Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns

Warriors: The Warriors need a win here against the Suns if they hope to even make the playoffs. Golden State is just 3-4 this month. The Warriors are fresh off a 122-116 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, but they haven?t won back-to-back games since early March and have lost their last five trips to Phoenix.

Warriors are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 vs. NBA Pacific.

Key Injuries - NONE

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD

Suns (-5.5, O/U 232): Phoenix has clinched a postseason spot, but a 3-3 record in April prevented the Suns from having a chance at home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. The Suns are looking to bounce back after struggling offensively Friday in an 11-point loss to the Rockets. "We didn't have the fight,? according to Amare Stoudemire. However, Stoudemire had 36 points last time against these Warriors in an 8-point victory.

Suns are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games.

Key Injuries - NONE

PROJECTED SCORE: TBD
