Information on the best of Sunday's college hoop games........

Ark-Little Rock is off to rocky start, losing 92-64 at Ole Miss, 59-45 at Tulsa; they shot 33% at Tulsa, had 22 turnovers in opener. Creighton is 1-1 after losing at Dayton, beating Florida A&M. Sun Belt road dogs are 7-7 against spread. Missouri Valley home favorites are 3-2 vs spread.

Cal-Riverside is 0-2 against D-I teams, losing by 16 at New Mexico, by 10 at USC; they've got three starters back from 17-13 team (8-8 in Big West). San Jose played well in Seattle Friday, losing at Washington by 10 points. WAC road underdogs are 5-6 against the spread.

Santa Clara (+2.5) lost 63-57 at Pacific LY; Broncos got smoked 86-53 at San Diego State Thursday, shooting 28% from floor, 4-19 from arc, with 19 turnovers. Pacific's last game was suspended with 8:52 left in second half at N. Arizona; they won first two games by 1-3 points.

Kansas State gave up 56% shooting in semifinal loss to Ole Miss, made just 14-27 from foul line. Dayton shot 38%, turned ball over 17 times in its loss to Villanova. Flyers have four starters back from 27-8 team that won game in NCAAs LY. Atlantic 14 teams are 15-8 against the spread.

Ole Miss shot 56% in semifinal win, with both guards scoring 20+ pts; both teams are loaded in backcourt. Villanova beat Dayton despite 37% shooting, 5-19 from arc. Both teams had yesterday off-- this is NCAA level game. Big East teams are 10-3 vs spread away from home.

NC-Wilmington upset Penn State Thursday, then hung with Miami the nest game, so they're getting better; CAA underdogs are 15-7 vs spread, 12-6 away from home. South Florida held South Carolina to 37% Friday but lost 69-66- they held Davidson to 37% on Thursday, too.

Miami shot 50% in both wins this weekend, with 26 offensive rebounds; Hurricanes lost three starters off LY's 19-13 team. South Carolina made just 6-31 from arc in first two games this weekend, but won by 10-3, as they got to foul line 30 times vs South Florida. SEC favorites are 15-10.

Drake split its two games this weekend, giving up 33 offensive boards; they had 6-point halftime lead in yesterday's loss. Central Florida shot 32% with 22 turnovers yesterday, after shooting 52% (20 turnovers) in Friday's win. Both teams here are playing their third day in a row.

NC State allowed 52 ppg in winning two games this weekend, but had to hang on yesterday, after leading by 16 at half. ACC teams are 12-7 vs spread this year. Auburn shot 38% in Friday's loss to UCF, making 11 of 39 3's- they won by 15 yesterday. SEC teams are 17-12 vs spread.

Miami O split first two games this weekend, losing by 12 to La Tech on Friday, beating Nicholls State by 11 yesterday. New Mexico waxed La Tech by 29 yesterday, after beating Nichools by 24. Mountain West teams are 12-7 vs spread. MAC teams are 6-9 vs spread on the road.

Totally different pace for DePaul today, facing fast-paced Tennessee a game after upsetting slow-paced Northern Iowa Friday, holding UNI to 33% from floor. Blue Demons struggled (59-53) to beat Columbia in its opener. Tennessee forced 34 turnovers Friday in a 105-61 win vs ECU.

Purdue point guard Jackson (foot) is done, so Boilers are adjusting; they haven't played anyone good yet. St Joe's upset Boston College 87-80 on Friday, making 10-21 from arc, while holding BC to 36% from the floor. Big 11 favorites are 8-3 against the spread. A-14 underdogs are 5-5.

Wofford lost to Pitt by 3, won at Georgia, so they're dangerous dog at Bradley squad that got by Idaho State 74-69 in home opener after losing opener by 10 at BYU. Braves have three starters back from LY's 21-15 team. MVC favorites are 4-3. Southern Conference underdogs are 8-10.
