NCAABK Weekend Outlook
By Sportsbook.com

On Saturday, the bulk of the action will occur, with a total of 96 board games to choose from as the tournament picture continues to sort itself out. Perhaps the biggest game of the day is in Kentucky, as Tennessee visits the 2nd ranked Wildcats, with the ESPN GameDay crew on hand at Rupp Arena. The hosts have still lost just once on the season, while the Volunteers will be looking to rebound from an ugly setback at Vanderbilt on Tuesday. In all, 12 of the Top 25 teams will be at home Saturday, including six of the Top 10. #1 Kansas hosts Iowa State, while #7 Duke, fresh off its win at North Carolina, hosts Maryland. Several ranked visiting clubs figure to be on upset alert too, with dangerous foes in waiting. In the Horizon & Ivy league’s, the first place teams visit the second place, with Butler traveling to Cleveland State, and Cornell visiting Princeton. New Mexico faces a landmine game at Utah, as does Georgia Tech, who figures to be an underdog at Wake Forest.

The Sunday board features a pair of great early games, both nationally televised. On ESPN, Louisville visits Syracuse, while on CBS, two of the Big Ten frontrunners get together when Ohio State travels to Champaign to take on Illinois. For Louisville, it’s been an up & down year that just got more interesting this past week as rumors regarding coach Rick Pitino’s potential exodus to the NBA came out mid-week. The Cardinals are one of the teams that needs to finish strong to ensure a NCAA berth, but Sunday’s game at the Carrier Dome against #3 Syracuse will certainly be a challenge. For Ohio State, the season turned for the good with the return of SG Evan Turner. Since he came back from injury, the Buckeyes only loss was of the non-conference variety at West Virginia. They are a true conference title contender with him in the lineup, but their opponent, Illinois, has gotten hot, knocking off Michigan State & Wisconsin in consecutive games to climb to the top of the league. Georgetown will also be in action at Rutgers, one of a total of 19 Sunday board games. The day also features a renewal of the rivalry between USC & UCLA.

Now, here are some trends you’ll want to consider as you build your wagering lineup for the weekend. After checking out the key numbers, head to Sportsbook.com to wager on these games.
