Your Saturday freebie is Miss State plus the points in their game at Missouri.
The Bulldogs are very much in the hunt for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, as they come into Columbia sporting an 18-6 mark highlighted by their current 4 game winning streak.
The winning streak was started at home against the same Mizzou team they will face today on the road. In that win, Mississippi State won comfortably by double-digits, 74-62.
To their credit the Tigers have won and covered all 3 of their games since their loss in Starkville, but one must wonder about the 19-turnovers Mizzou committed in the first go-round. We all know that Ben Howland coached teams like to play sticky defense, and this year's Bulldogs edition is no exception with just 65 points per game allowed.
I expect a lower-scoring contest today, and I expect the generous points to work.
Underdog play on the Bulldogs.
4* MISS STATE

After going toe-to-toe on Thursday at home in their comeback win over Duke, look for the Heels to be a little "hung over" when they seek a little payback on a Wolfpack team that was able to win in overtime at the Smith Center at the end of January to stop a 4-game series slide.
First year coach Kevin Keats has been able to coax his teams best efforts in their home games this season, as the 'Pack are 13-2 straight up on their home floor in Raleigh this season. They are also a money-turning 6-2 against the spread in their lined home dates.
North Carolina has not exactly been money on the road this season, as they have dropped 4 of their 5 ACC games straight up away from Chapel Hill, and are only 4-7-1 against the spread overall away from home.
After their emotionally-draining win over Duke, look for UNC to struggle today against NC State.
Take the points with the rock-solid home underdog.
3* NC STATE

Here is a question for you, how much longer do you think Kevin Ollie will be the head coach of the Connecticut Huskies?
I mean, this team has sunk pretty low since taking the NCAA crown a few years back. Not only that, but there is an internal investigation going on that hangs over this UConn team that need a mid-week escape-job over lowly South Florida at home 78-75 as the -13 point chalk just to get back to the .500 mark at 12-12!
This game at the Koch Arena sure sets up to be a big-time Wheat Shockers blowout, as Wichita State heads back home after road games at Temple - an overtime loss, and a mid-week cakewalk past Memphis in Tennessee. The Shockers boast a 13-2 straight up home ledger for the season, and they have covered the double-digit imposts that have been slapped on them their last 2 times on their home floor in blowout wins over Tulsa and Central Florida.
This is the second regular season meeting between the teams, the Shockers claiming the first by 10-points as the -10 1/2 point road chalk. Obviously, this price is a smidge higher, but Austin Reaves and Landry Shamet capable marksmen from behind the arc, and with the Wheat Shockers averaging 83-plus points per game to the Huskies pedestrian 69 points per game, I can see this one turning into a runaway in front of the rested and ready home crowd that has not seen their team play at home yet this month.
Blowout!
4* WICHITA STATE
