The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were hit hard by injuries. That led to a seven-game losing streak that just ended with the return of point guard Matt Farrell recently with a 96-85 home win over Boston College last time out.
The Fighting Irish actually played well and won a few games after Bonzie Colson went out. But then they lost Farrell, and they simply couldn’t overcome it. Farrell averages 15.9 points and 5.2 assists per game this season and is irreplaceable on this team. But now that he’s back, the Fighting Irish will be undervalued moving forward.
I think this is an awful spot for Florida State, which just blew a big lead against Virginia on Wednesday and lost 55-59 at home. The Seminoles will suffer a hangover from that defeat against the best team in the ACC in the Cavaliers. I also like the fact that Notre Dame has an extra day to prepare after last playing on Tuesday.
Notre Dame is 9-1 ATS in home games when playing just its 2nd game in a week over the last two seasons. Florida State is 0-6 ATS in road games when playing against a team with a winning percentage from 51% to 60% over the last three seasons. The Fighting Irish are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Bet Notre Dame Saturday.

Notre Dame is worth a look here at home vs Florida St. The Irish have had some bad bad luck this season dealing with injuries. They finally ended their skid last game vs Boston College.
The Irish will probably get the benefit of the doubt a little bit from the committee because of what they have dealt with, but they still need wins and even though Florida St isn't a world beater it would still go along ways. The fact that Notre Dame has struggled as them undervalued.
