They lost lost 82-100 in Philadelphia last night, and all five of their losses have come by 9 points or more. Now they will be playing the second of a back-to-back tonight. The Nets have had two days off having last played on Wednesday. They are the fresher team and should not be underdogs tonight against the Pelicans. The Nets are 21-10 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record this season. Brooklyn is 15-5 ATS versus good offensive teams scoring 106 or more points per game this season. The Pelicans are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a losing record. The underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Give me the Nets.

I think the price is right here to take a shot on the OVER in Saturday's Big Ten action that has Ohio State hosting Iowa. These two teams played back in early January and combined for 173 points in a 92-81 Buckeyes win. I expect a similar offensive outburst from these two teams tonight.
Iowa's style of play really favors a high-scoring game. The Hawkeyes like to push the pace and can score the basketball. Iowa comes in averaging 80.7 ppg on the season and have scored 84 or more in 4 of their last 5 games. The problem for the Hawkeyes this season is they can't stop their opponent from scoring at will. Iowa ranks 312th in the country giving up 78.3 ppg, allowing teams to shoot 45.8% from the field (277th) and 36.3% from long distance (264th).
Ohio State is no slouch on the offensive side of the ball. The Buckeyes as a team are shooting 48.8% from the field, which is the 24th best mark in the country. They should have no problem here putting up a big number against an Iowa defense that has allowed 80 or more in 9 of their last 10 games (only exception against Wisconsin). The big key here for me is I don't think we get the best effort from the Buckeyes on the defensive side of the ball coming off that huge win at Purdue and Iowa not being a team they figure to be all that concerned about. Give me the OVER 152!

Cal-Irvine crushed Riverside, 79-40, at home on Jan. 24. The Anteaters have won and covered their last two road games. I have enough confidence in the Anteaters to cover this number against a 6-17 Riverside team that is in a rare letdown spot coming off a road victory against Hawaii. The Highlanders had lost 10 in a row until pulling that upset.
