Saturday's comp play comes in the NBA, as I back the Spurs plus the points at the Thunder.
San Antonio has won just twice straight up in their last 9 games, but they have at least split their last 8 games against the spread. They face an OKC team that has won 6 of their last 9 games straight up and fresh off a 115-87 romp at home over the Phoenix Suns.
On paper the Thunder should win this game, and they may indeed do so, but based on the series numbers don't count on a Thunder cover. San Antonio has won 3 of the last 5 series meeting straight up, and they have covered in each of the last 3, and 4 of the last 5 overall.
For some reason the Spurs just seem to get up for playing the Thunder, and after dropping 7 of their last 9, I would think that this is a game that San Antonio will get themselves up for. I say go ahead and take the points with the underdog Spurs on Saturday night.
Coach Pop once again has Billy D's number, back San Antone.
3* SAN ANTONIO

Rangers vs. Panthers
UNDER 6½ -115
The Panthers are off a 5-0 victory last time out. That result brought the 'under' to 7-2 their last nine games. Note that the 'under' is a lucrative 47-34, excluding 'pushes,' over the years, when the Panthers were off a shutout victory. While they're off a 5-3 loss last time out, the Rangers have still seen six of their last eight games fall below the total. With the Panthers allowing an average of just 1.8 goals per game, over their last five, an O/U line of 6.5 seems fairly generous. Consider the Under.

My 1* Free Play is on the Dallas Mavericks (9:30 EST).
Memphis comes in off a 95-78 home loss to the Jazz and everything points to another predictable letdown here as well in my opinion.
The Mavs come in with momentum after beating the Nuggets 118-107 at home on Tuesday. Dallas has taken two of three in the series already this year, but it won’t be taking anything for granted after a narrow 95-94 road win in the most recent back on November 22nd.
The Grizz average only 99.1 PPG and they concede 103.8. Marc Gasol leads the nightly charge with 17.9 points, 8.5 boards and 4.1 assists per night.
Dallas averages 102.4 PPG and it concedes 105.1. Harrison Barnes averages 18.4 points and 6.4 boards a night, while rookie Dennis Smith Jr. adds 15 points and five assists.
I’ll point out (and think it’s very interesting to note) that Memphis is just 1-5 ATS in its last six road games against a team with a home winning percentage of below .400, while Dallas is 4-1 ATS in its last five against a team with a losing road record.
Neither team will be in the postseason, but I believe Dallas has a major advantage at home in this matchup. Consider laying the points on the Mavs.
Good luck…Larry

Ricky's Free play on the LA Kings -155:
Key Angle: It's important to remember that Ricky never makes a bet on any game based on just one angle. In order to make the grade, all his premium picks must meet several important criteria. He doesn't share all his secrets within his analysis, instead he chooses to reveal only the angle that he feels is the most significant. In tonight's game there's no doubt that the Wild Card race in the Western Conference is particularly significant. The Kings hold the final spot, while St. Louis is four points back, with both Calgary and Colorado in between. The Blues have completely collapsed, losing nine of their last 10 overall. They were shutout three times during that span, and they have been held to two goals or less in eight of their last 10 overall.
Key Trends:
- The Blues are 0-9 in their last 9 versus teams with a winning record.
- The Kings are 4-0 in their last 4 versus teams with a winning record.
- The Blues are 2-12 in the last 14 meetings in Los Angeles.
Verdict: Take Kings -155

Spurs vs. Thunder
Spurs+5½
The Spurs are not the Spurs that we've come accustomed to. They are on the verge of their amazing 19-year streak with 50 or more wins coming to an end this season. Kawhi Leonard only playing in 9 games is the main reason why. That being said The Spurs are still a tough opponent for the inconsistent Thunder. The Thunder aren't the same team without their defensive stopper Andre Roberson and without him, they can't make enough stops to stay consistent for 4 quarters. OKC has been the worst NBA team at the betting window all season. They are 25-42 on the season, 13-20 at home and just 2-8 in their last 10. San Antonio plays better defensively and uses their deeper bench to get the Cover and possible road win. Take The Points and Take The Spurs. SPURS +5.5

St. Louis +142
The Blues are 89-41 on Saturdays and 5-2 in the last 7 meetings. LA goalie Jonathan Quick is a future Hall Of Famer but can be inconsistent. Small play on St. Louis at +142 on Saturday.

Yale vs. Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania-7
The Ivy League Free Play is on Pennsylvania at 3:00 eastern. The Quakers have revenge here tonight on Yale after they blew a bg lead against them on the road. Yale may be without Mason who is doubtful for this game and Yale has failed to cover 7 of their last 9 dog losses and 11 of 16 on the road vs teams with a .600 or better home record. The Favorite in this series has covered 11 of 14 times. The winning team in this series has covered 23 of 24 times. Play on Penn. On Saturday the 2018 Conference Tournament Game of the Year headlines a solid card with 3-4 best bests all from Long term Tournament systems, The NBA has been Hot with Sides on an 11-3 run and we have 2 more undefeated system plays tonight in the NBA. For the Ivy league free play. Take Pennsylvania. RV- GC Sports

Golden Knights vs. Sabres
Sabres+180
The home 'dog Sabres are worth a shot at this big of a plus price. Buffalo actually has a better record than Las Vegas during the past eight games going 5-3 compared to the Golden Knights' 4-4.
The Sabres are riding some confidence after getting their first shootout win of the season, upsetting the Senators this past Thursday. Buffalo has been very respectable during its last eight home games going 4-4. During this span, the Sabres defeated the Lightning, Bruins and Maple Leafs. The Golden Knights are likely to still be without James Neal, who is tied for second on the team in goals. Another negative for Las Vegas is the start time, which is 10 a.m. West Coast time as this is a day game.
