Free Pick on Virginia -
I'm recommending laying the points here with the Cavaliers at home in Saturday's ACC action against Notre Dame. Virginia comes into this game off one of the most improbable wins you will ever see. The Cavaliers overcame a 4-point deficit with less than 1-second to play in a 67-66 win at Louisville on Thursday. I think the way they pulled off that win is going to really have this team locked in for what will be their final home game of the regular-season, which means senior day.
Notre Dame comes in having won 5 of their last 7, but it's nothing to get excited about. The schedule has been very favorable for the Irish during this stretch. Getting back Bonzie Colson is great, but this will be only his 2nd game played since the calendar switched to 2018. He was decent in his debut, scoring 12 points on 6 of 10 shooting in 21 minutes, but that was at home against a really bad Pitt team. I look for Colson and the entire Notre Dame offense to really struggle to get the offense going against the stingy defense of the Cavaliers.
It's also worth noting that Virginia brand of basketball doesn't get a ton of love from the media and the books have consistently undervalued this team. The Cavaliers are 17-7 ATS as a favorite this season. They are also a perfect 7-0 ATS in their last 7 off a game where they failed to cover the spread. Take Virginia!

Jack’s Free Pick Saturday: Gonzaga -20
The Gonzaga Bulldogs really turned it on at the end of the season and are playing their best basketball heading into the WCC Tournament. They won their final 11 games of the regular season, including impressive road wins over St. Mary’s (by 13) and BYU (by 14).
Now the Bulldogs face a Loyola-Marymount team that they simply own. They won by 19 at Loyola in their first meeting this season and by 30 at home in their second meeting. The Zags are now 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven meetings with the Lions, winning by an average of 28.3 points per game.
The Bulldogs are 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. The Lions are 1-4 ATS in their last five games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Bet Gonzaga Saturday.

Wake Forest vs. Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech-2
This is definitely not one of the popular games on the board here, but I like Georgia Tech to get it done for several reasons on senior day.
They have covered 3 straight which tell me they haven't quit on the season and that is what you are looking for in teams that won't be playing in the post season. They also just got handed by Wake Forest 2 weeks ago so that is fresh in their mind. Wake is also just 4-9 SU on the road this season with their only recent road win coming @ Pitt who is the worst power 5 conference school.

Kentucky at Florida- No. 25 Kentucky has won their last four while the Gators have won their last two and the winner here is guaranteed a double-bye in the SEC tournament. Florida broke the Wildcats 30-game SEC home winning streak 66-64 earlier this season and seek revenge. The trouble is that they are still so young (4 freshman starters) and the Gators are on the 'bubble' and need a win here. Take FLORIDA!

This is a 1* Free Play on Duke.
Both teams come in off losses, clearly each getting caught looking ahead to this one. The Tar Heels fell 91-88 at home to the Hurricanes, while the Blue Devils fell 64-63 at Virginia Tech. This is a big time revenge game for Duke though after North Carolina took the first matchup of the season at home 82-78. UNC averages 81.6 points and it allows 76.6 points in league play this year. Duke averages 79.2 points and it allows only 67.9 in conference action. Note that UNC is just 2-5-1 ATS in its last eight road games against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600, while Duke is 5-1 ATS in its last six following a SU loss. Note that the BLUE DEVILS have given up just 54.6 PPG over their last five, while the Tar Heels have allowed a whopping 79.2 in the same span. Consider the revenge-minded home side in this matchup.

Mack Attack Free Play for Saturday, March 3, 2018 is on the Utah State Aggies
A season that started with so much promise is ending in a train wreck for UNLV. The Rebs have lost four straight, barely producing an effort and in a trance or just lost on the defensive end. There last game was supposed to be their signature game of the year against hated Reno and UNLV managed to find itself down 50-22 before finding a soft place on the canvass after a 103-75 mercy killing that wasn't that close. Utah State has its own issues and lost last to previously winless in conference San Jose State. Logan is a tough place to play and it is senior night. Utah State by eight.
