JEFF BENTON

Your Saturday freebie is the Nets and Heat to once again land Under the posted total.

This game is all about series numbers, and they are heavily slanted in favor of a lower-scoring contest.

All 3 of this year's season series meetings have landed Under the posted price!

The Under in fact, is on a 7-0 run the past 7 meetings between the teams, and it has also cashed the ticket in 10 of the last 14 showdowns between the clubs when they meet in Miami.

To add a little more fuel to the Under fire, the Nets play this one off an Under in Orlando earlier this week, while the Heat have played their last pair Under the total, and the Under is 3-1 the last 4 times they have been on the hardwood.

Hard to argue those numbers.

Nets-Heat Under the posted price.

3* BROOKLYN-MIAMI UNDER

Blues vs. Coyotes

NHL Free Play: St. Louis Blues

Very fair price here to lay with the Blues on the road. St. Louis is seeking their 7th straight win and are playing a much less superior team. The Blues do look for revenge after losing to Arizona back in January. St Louis wins easily 5-2. The St. Louis Blues head to Arizona riding a 6 game win streak. The Blues are 43-28-5 on the season and are 4th in the Central. St. Louis is 8-2 over their last ten games and beat the Sharks on Tuesday. The Blues are 19-13-5 on the road. Carter Hutton will make his 26th start of the season for the Blues. Hutton is 16-7-3 on the season with 3 shutouts. Hutton has allowed 51 goals and carries a 2.02 goals against average with a .934 save percentage.

Brewers vs. Padres

BREWERS -123

The Brewers overcame a game-tying RBI single by Freddy Galvis off closer Corey Knebel in the ninth inning to post a 2-1 victory in 12 innings Thursday. Ji-Man Choi‘s had a pinch double with two out in the 12th and came around to score on Orlando Arcia‘s single with the go-ahead run.

Leadoff hitter Lorenzo Cain had three singles for Milwaukee, which hit into three double plays. Galvis had two of San Diego’s six hits, all singles, as the Padres got seven solid innings from starter Clayton Richard.

Rockies vs. Diamondbacks
over 8.5

The game on Friday night had 16 runs going into the 7th inning. Both teams can score in bunches as we saw both score 5 in one inning on Friday. Take the over on Saturday when the Rockies play the D-Backs.

Nets vs. Heat
Play - Miami Heat (Game 808).

Edges - Heat: 8-3 ATS on Saturdays this season… Nets: 1-5 ATS with two days of rest versus conference foe with one day of rest… With Brooklyn off a road win at Orlando, and having defeated Miami in each of the last two meetings this season, we recommend a 1* play on Miami. Thank you and good luck as always.

ROB VINCILETTI

The MLB Comp Play for Saturday is on the Chicago Whitesox at 7:15 eastern.

D. Iassognas is behind the plate tonight and Chicago has won 4 of 5 with him calling balls and Strikes while KC has lost 4 of 5 with him dating to last year. The Royals have Kennedy making the start and he has lost 6 of his 7 starts in March or April and he has a 5.04 career Era vs Chicago. Last season he has a 6.46 home Era. The Whitesox have Giolito going and he had a solid 2.38 Era last season and was 2-0 with a 1.35 Era vs the Royals. Look for the road team to win. On Saturday a powerful card is up and led by a huge 6* Triple system Final 4 side and a 25-0 NCAA Tournament totals play. There is a 5* NBA Power System blowout side and more. For the MLB Free pick. Play on Chicago. RV- GC Sports

Cardinals vs. Mets
Cardinals+1½ -170

The St. Louis Cardinals took a 9-4 beating by the NY Mets here at Citi Field in the season-opener Thursday afternoon. The two National League rivals will be back it again early Saturday after getting Friday off, and I like the Cards to keep this a close game with Michael Wacha on the mound.

Wacha has dominated the Mets through his seven career meetings, compiling a 4-1 record behind a 1.97 ERA. He has the current Mets roster limited to a .167 AVG over 96 at bats.

The Mets' turn to Jacob deGrom who is 7-2 with a 4.03 ERA in nine career starts against the Cardinals, but his spring training participation was limited due to back stiffness. We can also note that the current Cards are batting a combined .278 over 90 at bats against him.

SCOTT SPREITZER

White Sox vs. Royals
White Sox-101

I'm backing the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. The White Sox probably felt they had to score early and often with James Shields on the mound and they ended up winning 14-7 over the Royals on Thursday. Now they get to face Ian Kennedy, who was 1-8 with a 6.46 ERA at home last season and he was 0-5 in April and May. Also, Chicago lit up the right-hander to the tune of 17 earned runs on 26 hits in 20 innings. The White Sox won four of the last five meetings last year and have Lucas Giolito going on Saturday and for what it's worth he was their best pitcher in spring training with a 2.04 ERA in 17 innings. The right-hander had a .190 opponent batting average in seven games in 2017 and gave up two runs in 13 1/3 innings against the Royals. Chicago is an up-and-coming team while the Royals are just beginning to rebuild. We'll recommend a play on the White Sox on Saturday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

JESSE SCHULE
MLB | Mar 31, 2018
Giants vs. Dodgers
Giants+1½ -114

After getting shutout through Games 1 and 2 of this home series versus San Francisco, the Dodgers remain heavy favorites in Game 3 Saturday.

Derek Holland will toe the slab for San Francisco, and the 31 year old is trying to get his career back on track. He was once considered an ace when he was with the Rangers earlier in his career. While he doesn't come in with a ton of outstanding numbers, he has the skill set to take advantage of a struggling Dodgers offense in a pitcher's park.

LA will hand the ball to Kenta Maeda, who loves pitching at Dodgers Stadium. The 29 year old was 8-1 with a 2.88 ERA in 11 stats in LA last season. He struggled in his only start versus the Giants though, giving up four runs (a pair of home runs) over just three innings in an 8-6 loss.

These two teams have played one run ballgames in five of the last seven meetings at Dodgers Stadium.

Take SF +1.5.

GL,

Jesse Schule

CHRIS JORDAN

The New York Yankees for 2-0 for the first time since 2011, and Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are not the main reason. The newly powered pinstripes have been fueled by solid pitching in their first two gamaes, including yesterday, when Masahiro Tanaka allowed one run and three hits, while striking out eight and walking none.

So let's take a shot with the Bronx Bombers in their third game of the season, and we'll list both CC Sabathia and Marco Estrada.

Sabathia is hoping to replicate a season that saw the power left-hander compile his lowest ERA since 2012 (3.38).

Sabathia will be starting on five days rest, as the 37-year-old made two official spring training starts, going 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA. And in 31 career starts against the Blue Jays, he is 17-11 with a 3.63 ERA.

I'll play the Yankees in this one, and don't mind listing both pitchers, as Estrada has a 4.26 ERA in 25 career outings (24 starts) against them.

1* YANKEES (Sabathia over Estrada)
