My free play run is now at 37-25-1.

My free play is on the Under in the New Orleans Pelicans-Milwaukee Bucks contest, as I don't see these two getting close to 220.

While the Pelicans like to run and gun, they've stayed under in 10 of 14 on the road and in eight of 11 when installed as an underdog.

Milwaukee would love nothing more than to slow things down, keeping New Orleans out of its rhythm. The Bucks are on under runs of 7-2 as the chalk and 16-5 overall.

Play this one low.

5* UNDER Pelicans-Bucks

Let's keep the free pick win streak on ice alive, by taking the Arizona Coyotes over the Vancouver Canucks.

Had a chance to see the Canucks in person the other night here in Las Vegas, and I can tell you they may be worse than Arizona.

Vancouver likes to skate, and it can move the puck, but it really is no threat and will struggle against a Coyotes team that may have the least amount of points in the league, but hasn't been playing like the worst team in the NHL.

Arizona just knocked off the Anaheim Ducks last night, improving to 10-17-4 at home, and is now on a 4-1-0 run. The Coyotes have scored a point in seven of eight games and comes in having scored the first goal in seven straight games. They're now 14-13-5 when scoring first and 10-5-3 when leading after the first period.

With Vancouver playing the middle game of three-game road trip, it'll be tough for a team that has lost four of five and eight of 10.

I expect to see Derek Stepan have a big game, as he's registered a point in 6 of his last 9 games (two goals, six assists) but didn't get one last night. He ranks second on the team in scoring with (11-27), and will be hungry to spark his line today. He is two points shy from 400 career points.

I'll take the Coyotes here, as they will get the best of a struggling Vancouver.

4* COYOTES

JIMMY BOYD

Free Pick on Pelicans/Bucks OVER 222.5

I'm recommending to play OVER on the total in Sunday's NBA action that has the Pelicans visiting the Bucks. New Orleans returned from the break with a 124-123 win over the Heat. Anthony Davis had another monster game with 45 points, 17 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 steals. When he's playing like this, few teams will be able to slow this Pelicans offense down. I also think we are seeing Mirotic start to get comfortable with the team and he's a guy that can give you 20 off the bench on a regular basis.

Milwaukee went into the break losing a shootout at home against the Nuggets 123-134 and were in the middle of another high-scoring game in their first contest back, this time escaping with a 122-119 win at Toronto. Antetokounmpo, Bledsoe and Middleton all chipped in 20+ against the Raptors and when it's not just the 'Greek Freak' shouldering the load, this Bucks offense can be lethal. Milwaukee should only keep getting better offensively, as they just recently got back Jabari Parker (only played in 7 games) and it's going to take a minute for him to get back to All-Star form (was averaging 20 ppg before getting hurt last year).

The key here is that while both of these teams are rolling offensively, they haven't exactly been playing a ton of defense and each like to get up and down the floor. The Pelicans have allowed 100+ in 11 straight and are allowing 114.2 ppg over their last 5. Milwaukee has given up 134 and 119 in their last 2 games.

OVER is 16-5 in New Orleans' last 21 games when playing on just 1 day of rest and 7-1 in their last 8 vs a team with a winning record. OVER is also 15-5 over the last 2 seasons when the Bucks face an explosive offensive team that's averaging 110 or more points/game. Take the OVER!

BEN BURNS
NHL | Feb 25, 2018
Red Wings vs. Rangers
Rangers-110

Both these Original 6 franchises have seen better days. Each could really use a victory here. With the venue and schedule in their favor, I expect the Rangers to be the team which gets one. Note that the home team has won both meetings this season. Back on 12/29, the Wings won 3-2 at Detroit. A month earlier, in late November, the Rangers won 2-1 here at MSG. While the Rangers had yesterday off, the Wings are off a win against Carolina. The Wings, who are 0-3 the last three times that they played the second of b2b games, will also be playing their third game in four days here. Expect the Rangers to take advantage. Consider NY

DENNIS MACKLIN

DMack's Free Play for Sunday, February 25, 2018 is on the Illinois Fighting Illini

These are two awful 13-17 teams that showed some promise in non-conference play but have been cannon fodder in the Big Ten. Illinois has lost 6 of 7 and is 0-8 with six losses by 8+ points. The Scarlet Knights have lost 9-10 and were crushed 91-60 at Illinois in January with the Illini cashing 71% of their shots inside the arc. Illinois is 4-1 in the series and can get road monkey off their backs with a very winnable game here. Illinois 66-61.

BRANDON LEE
NCAA-B | Feb 25, 2018
Penn State vs. Nebraska
10* FREE NCAAB PICK (Under 140)

My money is on Sunday's Big Ten game between Penn State and Nebraska going UNDER the mark set here by the books. These two teams did combine for 150 points in a 76-74 Nittany Lions win at home back on 1/12, eclipsing the total for that game of 140.5. While the game went over, both defenses shined in the contest.

Nebraska held Penn State to just 39.4% shooting, while the Nittany Lions limited the Cornhuskers to just 36.8% shooting. The only reason that game went over was a plethora of fouls, as the two combined to make 32 free throws.

With both teams squarely on the bubble for the big dance, this is going to have the feeling of a tournament game, so we know we are going to get the best effort from both sides on the defensive side of the ball.

UNDER has cashed in each of Nebraska's last 4 games. It's also 10-4 when they play at home and 12-5 in Big Ten play. UNDER is also a perfect 6-0 over the last 3 seasons in games Nebraska plays with a line of +3 to -3 and 8-1 in their last 9 vs a team that's won more than 60% of their games. Give me the UNDER 140!
