NHL | Oilers vs Sharks
Play on: Sharks -139 at BMaker
Oilers vs Sharks Free Pick February 27, 2018

The Edmonton Oilers come into San Jose as winners of three straight, and four of their last five overall. Their recent success is a bit dubious though, coming off a pair of extremely lucky wins. They gave up two goals in the final minute at LA, only two have the game tying goal overturned by a (2nd) video review. They then conceded two goals in the final 21 seconds (you can't make this sh#t up) at Anaheim, but held on to win in shootout. Their luck has got to run out here in the final game of this three game road trip, against a Sharks team that can't afford to leave any points on the table. The Sharks are only two points ahead of the Flames, who occupy the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. Special teams could play a big role in this game, and that's good news for the home team. The Sharks are the best in the league on the penalty kill, and not far off the top when it comes to the power play. The Oilers were shipping off talent at the trade deadline, while the Sharks made a splash acquiring Evander Kane. The controversial forward is expected to make his debut at the Shark Tank tonight.

Take SJS.

NBA | Wizards vs Bucks
Play on: Wizards +3 -105 at pinnacle

#NBA FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN

The Wizards are coming off a 109-94 triumph against Philadelphia home in Washington on Sunday. They're 7-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on one days rest and 6-1 ATS in their last seven on the road, and I'm confident they'll give the Bucks all they can handle here in BMO Harris Bradley Center Tuesday night.

The Bucks took a disappointing 123-121 home loss against New Orleans in OT on Sunday. They're only 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games playing on one days rest and 0-4 ATS in their last four at home.

There's a lot on the line here as the Wizards are trying to hold on to the fourth spot in the East, entering this contest only 1 1/2 games ahead of the sixth-place Bucks.

The road team has covered the spread in each of the last four matchups in this series, and I'm happy to take the points on the visitors in what should be a very close game.

My free pick is on Washington Wizards ATS.
