4 Unit Play.Take Duke -4 over Clemson
The Blue Devils shot it really well on Friday and have had great success in the ACC Tournament in the last decade. Five players scored in double figures for the Devils and they already beat Clemson by 13 points this season. They hold a 100-27 edge in the all-time series and everyone wants to see a Duke/UNC Final Game on Sunday.
4 Unit Play. Take Wisconsin -3 over Michigan State
The Varsity Game in the Big Ten Tournament takes place before the JV game on Saturday, as the Spartans and Badgers are both comfortably inside the field of 65. Wisconsin already defeated Michigan State by 15 points earlier this season in Madison and Coach Ryan has dominated Coach Izzo in their coaching careers. The Badgers match-up well with the Spartans, as they have more depth, better big men, and better shooters. Bucky moves on to what will likely be a Big Ten Tournament Title.
4 Unit Play.Take Texas -5 over Oklahoma
Much like the ACC, everyone wants to see a Big XII match-up between Texas and Kansas in the finals. As poorly as OU looked against Colorado yesterday, one would like that Texas would keep their end of the bargain. Oklahoma cannot score enough points to stay with the Horns and thus Texas will be able to reach the high sixties and cover this spread.
4 Unit Play.Take UNLV +1 over BYU
The Rebels are playing this game on their home court and need this one more since they are still not a lock to make the tournament. BYU was the best squad MWC, but Vegas is a stronger squad at home winning 18 of their 20 games @ the Mack this season. They beat the Cougars by 29 points earlier this season and the rubber match will go the way of the Rebel.
5 Unit Play.Take Georgetown -4 ½ over Pittsburgh
The Big East has set up very nice for the Hoyas, as they will be playing just their third game compared to the fourth game for Pittsburgh. This will be Pittsburgh’s seventh trip to the Big East Finals, but in the previous six they have taken home the trophy just one time. Georgetown has just gone through the motions for much of the season but are now starting to turn it up coming tournament time. They pull away late to win this one by double-digits.
WUNDERDOG
MLB
Game: Minnesota at Philadelphia
Pick: Minnesota +109
No team has struggled as much as the Phillies this spring. They have yielded 113 runs during the Grapefruit season, and have the largest negative of runs scored vs. runs allowed than any team in the Florida circuit. Today, they will send to the mound some of the biggest reasons why. Eaton (15.75 ERA) gets the start followed by Durbin (9.64), Gordon (9.82), Castro (5.14) and finally Romero at (4.50). The Twins send Kevin Slowey to the hill, and if form holds, there will be a lot of Twins runs scored here, and we will back the dog.
NBA
Game: Sacramento at Phoenix
Pick: Game Total OVER 228
The Suns have become a serious OVER team of late. They have played OVER the total in 12 of their last 15 games. The Suns score at their best vs the NBA's weakest defenses. They produce 109.8 ppg on the season, but against the bottom seven defenses in the league average just a bit under 120! They are 9-1 OVER in their last 10 to a total of 220+. The Kings have become an OVER team of late as well, surpassing the total in 10 of their last 13. These teams over the last 2+ years, have played OVER in all five games played at Phoenix, and we look for that trend to continue tonight.

2-Unit Play. Arkansas/Tennessee Over 148
I think it's a pretty safe and calculated bet that these two will play over this total. Each will be in the 70s in the first of the SEC semi-finals, as these athletic, offensively efficient teams have done so all season. The Over is 6-2 for Arkansas in its last eight as an underdog, while the Over for Tennessee is 11-4 in its last 15 neutral site games. We'll see both teams with 70 on the board, and a good chance the winner cracks 80.
2-Unit Play. Take St. Joe's/Temple Under 135
A big game for both teams looking for that automatic bid. Eight of the last ten meetings have stayed under this number, and with two halfcourt teams, we'll see a lower scoring game in this A-10 final. I think the added focus on this weighted game will only help the under in this spot, having both teams slow down the game and run their sets. St. Joe's has held its first two opponents to an average of 50 points. Their defense will hold up again, and we'll have the under hit in a close, competitive game.
3-Unit Play. #741 Take BYU +1 over UNLV
The Rebels may be hosting the MWC tourney and in the final, but it doesn't mean they are playing particularly well. UNLV struggled to beat both lower seeds in TCU and Utah, while BYU cruised in both of its conference tournament games by double figures. The Cougars are playing better right now, winning nine of their last ten, and they'll earn the automatic bid with a win here.
